Ezra's P.O.V

I slowly opened my eyes to have a light blind me. Everything was starting to come to me then I remembered what happened and shot up in bed breathing hard and looking around. I sighed when I saw that I was in the med-bay. "Woah woah, settle down Ezra," Hera said and I started to even out my breathing. "That's it," Hera said smiling then frowned at me.

"What happened?" I asked a bit worried of why I fainted and her frown. "I don't know," she said, "Someone found you passed out on the ground..." She paused and had a worried, she didn't want to say the rest to me. "And..." I said wanting to know. ".....You weren't breathing...." She said softly and I was stunned. "We were able to get you back and hook you up and got you to breath again," she said.

I just kept looking at her with with the same worried look. Hera came over and gave me a hug, running her fingers through my short cut hair. I didn't lean in, instead I got out of the hug and jumped off the bed. I wobbled a bit and Hera ushered me to get back on the bed. I didn't listen actually, I couldn't hear her voice, like it was being blocked off and walked towards the door to get out.

I was almost at the door when I felt something tug on my arm. I looked back and glared at Hera. "Let go of me," I said stubbornly and tried to shake her off. "Ezra Jaruss! Get back to that bed!" She yelled angrily. "Oh yeah? Why should I?" I asked and turned to face her.

I saw a glint of shock before giving me her best death glare. "You aren't fully recovered and if you do anything stupid then you'll make it worse," she said a little more calmly. "So?" I said not caring. I heard a swish behind me then a voice say, "Listen to your mother, Ezra." I turned to face none other than my master.

He really crossed the line and I was ticked off. "SHE IS NOT MY MOTHER!" I yelled at the top of my lungs then spat, "and you're not my father." I stomped away from the two adults. Those two have done nothing but work or ignore me for two years! I'm tired and sick of them bossing me around. I'm almost seventeen for the sake of Lothal!

I walked into the bathroom and locked the door. I walked over to the sink and turned it on to the cold setting. I began to splash it in my face to get the sleep out of my eyes. I turned the water off and grabbed a cloth to dry my face. I set the cloth down then looked down into the sink breathing a little unevenly. What's wrong with me? Am I going mad?

I shook my head then looked up in to the mirror. I gasped and backed away and little and looked back to make sure that I didn't fall or I might pass out again. I slowly walked back to the mirror and looked at my face. Everything was fine but my eyes weren't their blue but a cold yellow.

I wasn't going mad. I wasn't drunk. I wasn't grumpy from loss of sleep from nightmares. No, it was much worse. I am being pulled into the dark side. That's why Hera had the glint of shock in her eyes. It's cause what I had in my eyes, Sith eyes. "Join me," the snake like woman's voice echoed in the air making me jump. I held my head and said, "No! Stop! I will never join you! GET OUT OF MY HEAD!"

"Dustin, listen to your mother," the voice echoed mockingly. Then it hit me, it was my birth mom that's getting into my head. But how?! She was dead! I killed her with her blood staining my hands! The same hands that held held the lightsaber, ending her life and blinding Kanan....

"Join me," the voice echoed again and I plugged my ears. "Never!" I yelled. There were voices on the other side of the door but I couldn't here them. My mom kept repeating some things and the same phrases kept spinning around me like there were people around me talking and mocking me to join them.

"LEAVE ME ALONE," I yelled then the voices stopped and I fell to my knees breathing hard. The door opened and I saw Sabine kneeling beside me. She was saying something but I couldn't hear her. I was going to asked her to repeat what she said but I couldn't find my voice. All I could do was breath hard and look at her worried eyes.

Sabine looked over her shoulder and I looked at the entrance of the door to see Hera and Kanan standing there with worried looks. Hera knelt down next to me but I still couldn't hear her or have the voice to say anything. I was starting to get a headache and my eyes were getting blurry. I past out again and fell into Hera's arms.

I heard one thing before I passed out, "Ezra!"
