Ezra's P.O.V

"Dustin."

I looked around the pitch black area until my eyes laid on Mira. I glared at her and she smiled. "Join the dark side," she said. "Never!" I shouted. "You don't exactly have a choice," she said and stepped aside to reveal a beaten and bloodied Dakota tied up and helplessly laying on the floor.

"What did you do to her?!" I yelled at my Sith mother. "What it deserves and if you don't join the dark side, then her fate will be sealed," Mira said and took out her lightsaber and pointed it at Dakota. Dakota had fear in her eyes as she looks from the red blade to me. Dakota had a handkerchief tied around her mouth but she was still pleading for help.

"Come on, Dustin," Mira said, "I don't have all day." She inched the lightsaber closer to Dakota. "Wait!" I yelled and looked at the ground with my eyes closed and my hands in the form of a fist. "I-I'll join you," I said looking up and into the cold Sith eyes,"Just don't hurt her. "Good boy," Mira said in her snake like voice then decapitated Dakota.

"NO!" I yelled then looked at Mira in frustration, "YOU WILL PAY!" She tossed me her lightsaber and I took it. I ran over to her and swung the blade but stopped when I was barely close to slicing her head clean off. "Why do you hesitate?" I asks me. I bring the weapon back and shut it off then toss it. "Cause I'm not like you," I said and turned to walk off. When I turned, I saw Dakota standing there.

I was relieved to see that she was alive but I didn't like the black clothes and the red blade she held in her firm grip. She was looking at the ground so I couldn't tell what her emotions she was feeling at the moment. "Dakota?" I asked and Dakota looked up with yellow eyes. "Why didn't you save me?!" She spat and ran at me. I looked down to find the lightsaber that I tossed but it was gone and so was Mira.

I looked back and saw that Dakota held the blade close to my neck. "I-I'm sorry," I said. "Why didn't you do anything to save me?!" She yelled. "I couldn't!" I yelled back. "You couldn't or you can't cause you can't do anything right in that head of yours!" She yelled and brought the blade down. "I'M SORRY! AAAHHHH!"

I jolted up in a layer of sweat and looked around in fright. I calmed down once I saw that I was still on the Ghost. The door opened and Hera and Kanan came in. "Is everything ok in here?" Hera asked. I looked below me and saw that Zeb wasn't in his bed. "Where's Zeb?" I asked. "He came out of the room and told us that you were talking in your sleep," Kanan said, "Are you ok? We heard you scream from the cockpit."

"Just a bad dream," I said rubbing my eyes. "Must of been some dream if it made you that scared," Hera said. "I'll be fine," I reassured, "you two head off to bed and get some shut eye." They seemed unsure but left the room. I laid back down and closed my eyes to try and fall back asleep.

Kanan's P.O.V

I sighed as I sat on the couch in the common room. "What are we going to do if he keeps getting theses visions and nightmares?" Hera asked. "I don't know, but we need to figure out a way to get rid of the dark presence," I said stroking my beard.

I heard a transmission come through the round checkered table. "Hello Ahsoka," I heard Hera say, "What do you need at this time at night?" "Sorry to disturb you but I have a mission for all of you," she said, "It's a rescue mission, I'll send the information and I'm sorry again for awakening you at this hour." "It's fine," Hera said, "I got the info." "Good, Fulcrum out," Ahsoka said and ended the transmission.

"Maybe you should let Ezra take this mission to get his mind off of things," I said. "Maybe," Hera said and yawned, "Time for lights out, night." I stood up and headed for my cabin too. I stopped at the door when I felt Ezra's emotions. It felt like a wave of sadness was drowning me and the pain was fake but real at the same time. I didn't exactly know how to describe it but I knew for sure that it wasn't anything good.

I turned directions and headed towards Ezra's and Zeb's room and opened the door. I walked over and gently lifted Ezra into my arms. He snuggled into me and stopped shaking which made me smile to know that Ezra still thinks of me as someone that protects him. I carried him to my room and set him on the top bunk. I tucked him in and fit my hand on the side of his face.

He leaned into the touch then I eventually moved my hand back to my side then crawled into the bottom bunk bed's covers. I took my mask and boots off then closed my eyes and went to bed.
