The large wolf leaned over me. I backed away, this wolf showed no mercy.
He leaped upon me and picked me up tightly in his jaws. He then threw me up in the air and caught me again, this time even tighter, I felt blood dripping out of me as I yelped with pain. If his daughter wasn't watching he would have killed me.
The wolf's daughter stared in disbelief. Her father, seeing her like that, only threw me away, deep within the forest.
The wolf's attack left me lying on the forest leaves. Soon rain started to pour out of the misty clouds. The rain was heavy on my fur.
I soon found myself on my paws and continuing to search for an elk herd. I found another scent that was quite strong. I followed the scent and found a tall creature that looked like prey. This must be an adult elk!
I leant down to the ground and began to stalk the elk, just as my parents would. I jumped onto the lks back and began to bite on it. The lk just effortlessly shook me off.
I then saw a pack of wolves going to hunt. I watched them take down the large bull elk. I watched, not believing it. When the pack of wolves had finished killing the bull, they chewed n the fresh, warm carcass. My mouth watered.
When they had all devoured the carcass, there was little left, but that was enough for a ravenous pup. When the pack had left I ate and I ate. That was how I lived the rest of my life as a pup.
When I had become a full growl adult male wolf. I had learnt everything I needed to know about survival.
That is where I am today, a full grown wolf with my own territory and den.
