I nudge Snow awake again. Slowly, she gets up and stretches. Her eyes are ice blue, not in a bad way, they are beautiful.
I bark to her saying that she can help herself to the food. Snow smiles and takes five small bites and leaves the rest. She says that she is not hungry.
She barks and says '' How long am I allowed to stay here?''
'' As long as you want.'' I reply
'' Thanks.'' She says
We both trott happily down to the creek. The rain gradually begins to stop. A barrel of colours in let out in to the sky. The sun come out and warms up the world.
We lap up the fresh water, but I see a large bear charging and tumbling down towards us.
It is soon one metre away from us. I leap in front of Snow to protect her. I curve my body around to show that I am feeling defensive/ threatened.
I notice that Snow has her tail fully tucked in and her back highly arched. I try to be courageous as Snow is ovbiously petrified. To be honest I am quite scared as well.
I leap onto the bear and sink my teeth into its fur, right down to the flesh. The bear tumbles and falls to the ground to shake me off. I fall off onto a very painful landing onto sharp rocks. The rocks cut me and blood drips down.
The bear is about to pounce on Snow when I leap onto the bear and push it away with all my strength. I scrabble my claw all across his fur. The bear, who is hardly in pain, walks off.
Whoo... I say as I fall to the ground. That is one strong bear. The creek washes away my blood and there is an empty scar.
I fight the pain and we both silently walk back to the den. About ten minutes later I decided that this was dumb so I asked her if she was alright.
She replied saying '' Perfect... anyway thanks for you know, well you were there.''
'' Yeah so... I mean, like I was wondering... umm, I know it hasn't been very long, but here it goes. Will you, Snow, be my... my... my... (I gulp) mate?
