Shantanu had decided not to attend the next practice session as he was disturbed by the growing distance between him and Vrushika. He decides to spend the week with his team Desihoppers indulging in his number one passion, dance.
After hours in the rehearsal hall :
Team had long gone after their practice session but Shantanu was still there in the rehearsal hall trying out a new routine. He didn't want to go home because his home, his room and the well wishers gifts reminded him of her.
He was really frustrated by now because he has been trying to get one step perfect for last 30 minutes and he still failed to do so. He decides to stop everything for some time and take rest. As he lay down on the floor and closed his eyes, he slowly drifted into sleep as he was really tired.
Shantanu (In mind ) : Where am I? Wait a minute. This is our D3 set. Oh , I am in our classroom. He looks around and sits on the chair in the front. He felt so good to be back here. This set was his second home. As he sat there thinking about all the good time that he spend here, he heard someone's footsteps coming towards him. Yes, it felt like heels hitting the floor. As he looked at the entrance, all he could see was a pair of shining eyes and a smile like sunshine . They looked so familiar. As the person moved towards him, he recognized her. She was none other than his close friend, his Gujju girl Vrushika. He starts to get up and move towards her but someone comes in between and he holds her hand and takes her along with him. He turns around and smiles at Shantanu as he walk away with her.
Shantanu : Please don't go. Pleaseeee
He suddenly felt like someone was shouting at him and shaking his hands.
Voice : Tannu, Tannu, wake up dude.
Shantanu slowly opens his eyes to see Maccy standing before him.
Shantanu : Maccy
Maccy : Yes , it's me. What happened dude? Why were you shouting in your sleep?
Shantanu looks at Maccy and realizes that all that he saw was just a dream. He looks down and finds him drenched in sweat. That dream shook him from inside and he knew that it may come true very soon.
Maccy : Tannu
Shantanu : Maccy, I just had a bad dream.
Maccy : About Vrushy
Shantanu was surprised that Maccy knew. He looks at Maccy and nods his head in yes.
Maccy : Tell me what happened.
Shantanu tells him everything that happened since BCL started. Maccy listens to everything carefully and nods his head in response.
Maccy : Okay. Now relax a bit and drink this glass of water.
After Shantanu becomes a bit normal, Maccy decides to speak to him.
Maccy : Tannu, you have known Vrushy for a long time. Since the day she entered D3 as Sharon, you have been her mentor, her guide and friend. There is no one among us who knows her better than you. Am I right?
Shantanu nods his head.
Maccy : Back in our D3 days, we have always seen how she was worried when you got hurt. She felt happy when you are happy and sad when you are frustrated or upset. She took all your leg pulling and sarcasm without any complaints. After D3, Sam, you and me got Bindaas Naach. She was there with us from beginning. Even though we could not include her in the team due to health issues, she never complained or held a grudge. Even though you guys had a misunderstanding in between, she came back and stood by you. It was her dream to see you on top of the world and her happiness had no bounds when we won WOD. She was your support system in all seasons of BCL as well as your Jhalak journey. She never left you even though you might have forgotten her in between due to busy schedule and new friends. Am I right?
Shantanu again nods his head.
Maccy : Do you still think she will break this bond with you?
Shantanu : Maccy, things are no longer the same. She has Rohan in her life now. He is her support system now. She no longer needs me.
Maccy : Tannu, many people have come and gone in both of your life but the only thing constant till date is your bond. You have been pushing her away for a long time now. May be she is trying to find support in someone else but trust me dude , if you are holding her hand she will never need anyone else's support.
Shantanu looks at Maccy still uncertain about what he just said.
Maccy : If you don't sort things out now, you may lose your friend forever. All she ever wished for is your happiness and if she found her happiness with someone, be a friend and support her. Just understand one thing that whoever come and go in her life, your bond with her will remain the same.
Shantanu understands what Maccy was trying to tell him and decides to speak to Vrushika before it's too late because she and her friendship meant everything to him.
