Vrushika comes out of the locker room and finds Shantanu standing there lost in his thoughts.
Vrushika : Shan
Shantanu : Hmm
Vrushika : It's quite late. Can we leave?
Shantanu nods his head and silently walks out of the stadium.
In the parking lot :
Shantanu had come by bike that day and Vrushika was standing near it feeling awkward after what happened between them some time earlier. He looks at her and she quickly gets on the bike and gingerly keeps her hands on his shoulder. He immediately starts the bike and heads towards her home.
As they both sat on the bike lost in their thoughts, Shantanu missed to see a speed breaker on the road. He had to apply the brakes suddenly as he saw the speed breaker late. Because of this Vrushika was hurled forward and her lips accidentally brush Shantanu's cheek. He felt a strange sensation as their bodies collided and her lips brushed his cheeks. He looks into her eyes but she immediately looks down avoiding eye contact.
Shantanu : Are you Okay?
Vrushika : Yes
Shantanu : I am sorry. I did not see the speed breaker.
Vrushika : It's okay.
Shantanu : Just hold me tight. I don't want you to fall and get hurt.
Vrushika nods her head and slowly wrap her arms around his waist.
Shantanu : Ready?
Vrushika : Yeah
Shantanu restarts his bike and continue their journey. They reach Vrushika's house in next 20 mins. She quickly gets down and walks to her building without looking back while he stood there looking at her. As he turn around to leave, he heard someone call him. He looks back and finds Vrushika standing before him.
Shantanu : What happened? Did you forget anything?
Vrushika : Yes
Shantanu : What?
Vrushika looks at him and comes close to him. She then place a small peck on his cheeks.
Vrushika : This
Shantanu just looks at her unable to say a word while she ran and entered a building.
Shantanu : Wow, did she just.... just kiss me.
A goofy smile appeared on his face as he rode back home thinking about the kiss
Next few weeks saw lot of action in BCL. Chandigarh Cubs won a few matches while lost a few. They finally managed to enter the Semifinals of BCL.
