Gela's POV

It's been a week since we moved here at New York and everything is working out just fine. The city breeze is so relaxing at night, Many people greets you early in the morning. The sceneries were just amazing. You should try the shopping district. IT IS AWESOME. I love how all the street lights give us help in the dark and It looks sooooo romantic. The stores were full of goodies ( food or not ) but what I like the most in this city is that everything changes, Something new always make it's way through the headlines. The city is just a relaxing start for me and Gweny.

" Oh shit! Sorry Mr. Derick! I'll be there in six minutes! " Gwyneth exclaimed at her phone with a terrible expression and suddenly bolted inside her room.

That's my soul mate, My lover, My everything... Just kidding I'm so not gonna date that ball of anxiety. She is basically straight as a noodle. I am a proud bisexual with issues that people would not really care about because it's nonsense.. Okay enough about me. Let's talk about my friend Gwyneth.. Let's just say our first day here was not a cup of tea for her. The interview went totally wrong. She literally got her boss's name wrong. She fucking said " Mr. Dick " when it was supposed to be " Mr. Derick ". I know I should feel sorry for her and be a good and concerned friend I am... but fuck that. I didn't stop laughing until she broke my fingers ( and she says I'm the sadist *cries ) but eventually she got accepted because New York doesn't care if you called your boss a dick ( most people here are.. to be fucking honest ) and now she's working a young and free life-

" GELA IT'S ALMOST 8 YOU IDIOT! " she said while finishing her buttons that were a little loose while she was eating bread and jam in her mouth. I looked at the clock.. It was already 8:13 .. And she said almost .. Are detectives here as dumb as her? If so then this town is done for.

" Are you just gonna stare at me panicking? " She said while looking at me with confusion and I nodded my head with eyes wide open.

" Well fuck you.. I'm heading out first! See Yah! " she said while rushing off to her work place. I got off the chair and washed the dishes. As soon as I was done I cleaned the leftover mess she made while panicking. I still can't believe she is a certified detective with a license. How do she even solve cases with that anxiety?. Well I better finish up because I have a job at a Gelato Shop just a couple of blocks away from here and my shift starts at 8:30.

" And.... Done " I said while rubbing off dust in my hands.

I looked back at the now cleaned apartment. I am now going to my job and leaving this heaven alone for awhile. I closed the door behind me and locked it safely so that the cleaning lady won't come in because she doesn't know a single thing about privacy.

I went to my destination and of course I am wearing my trusty gelato uniform with matching cap. The dark green polo that was fitted to me made me look a Starbucks barista for some reason while my grey jeans made me look like a retarded McDonald personnel. When I arrived at the shop , It was already filled with costumers. I guess the Protinnis are really known through out New York. Who would have thought that good looking CEO hired me but he looked devious though, He's not really a person with care.

I greeted my fellow staffs and started my shift. The cafe has this modern yet classical atmosphere. The air here is very welcoming and the tables have a simple but elegant design. The light were dim because glass panes were already surrounding the shop. The plants can be seen hanged or potted. It was a nice and relaxing working place but even this relaxing place can be quite entertaining and it starts... right.. about.. now.

The clock ranged softly and piano music started to play. It was 12'o clock and that means lunch time. In Cream Bear we have a special menus that can be only ordered on this specific time, an hour to be exact but since it's lunch many people prefer fast foods but some prefer sweets and We have our regular costumer right over that side who is typing non-stop, looking too focused and serious.

I slowly approached her but I didn't expect to be mesmerize by her silent beauty. She was like a lone wolf that is being strong while she is really suffering but her eyes showed no weakness. Her eyes showed confidence but at the same time it is like a void that is slowly pulling you into her little by little. She kept on licking her lips , It must be her habit but seeing that sight was a huge turn on for me. I am so gonna be whipped today.I kept on staring at her.. I wonder if she's straight-

" Excuse me but why are you staring at me? " I snapped out of my thoughts when I heard her speak. Damn... I didn't know angels exist until now. Observing her at the distance was already hard but now I'm face to face.. I'm gonna die any second and this silent beauty is the cause of it.

"I uh... uh... saw a bird passing by and.. uhh it was above you!" I said while blushing and rubbing the back of my head. Such a clutz Gela.

" But It's totally locked here though. " she said while crossing her legs while smirking at me. She is doing this on purpose. She is officially teasing me.

" I uh.. saw the bird outside? " really... a bird. I should have just said " Hey you look fucking fine! Can I have your number?" But nahh that would make me look a pervert. I need to keep myself clean. I did not signed up to a bible study at 10th grade for thinking about those nasty thoughts certainly did not signed up because I'm a pervert.

" Why are you not sure then? " shit I am screwed. I need help ASAP, call the S.W.A.T.! I'm slowly digging my grave of humiliation inside of me.

" So what's your order? " I asked while shaking off the feeling of intimidation. She just looked at me with an unamused face then she started to pack her things. She carried her bag with ease and then approached me.

" I'm done already.. thank you for asking though.." she said with a cheerful voice but It was so pleasing to here.

I stood there like rock frozen and hoping she would just walk away and not care for someone like me but destiny has other plans and It's sure that I'm gonna be tortured starting today. Join me to my death everyone. "It's gonna be fun" they said.. well shits on me guys.

" 6:15, Hero's Cabin, see you there " she whispered to me and then she walked off. Did she just?.. she did not.. SHE FUCKING ASKED ME OUT ! Is the heavens answering prayers right now? I am excited at the same time freaked out because I've only seen her since I started.. Okay guys.. I am so going to meet her.
