When i woke up it was dark, i guess i didnt realize how much my shoulder and knee hurt compared to my ribcage. They stung as i moved, i looked at my shoulder and from what i could see it was bruised bad and had a deep cut in it.

I looked out the cracks in the wall to see if anything was going on, a storm was gathering. It looked like it would be bad. I felt the cild wind on my eye and leaned back a little.

"How do you feel?"  Logan tapped my shoulder scaring me a bit, he was standing on the bed below me and holding onto the bed frame.

"Okay." I was lying i felt like i could barley move.

"Thats good!" He smiled, then Ashley walked over and pushed him away and climbed up my ladder and sat next to me.

Logan walked away with a red face, clearly he was mad at Ashley for doing that. I wonder why se did.

"How are you really feeling?" She whispered.

"Im sore." I couldn't lie to her, it was too hard.

"Well we need to think of a plan to get out of here." She readjusted herself into a more comfortable position.

"How are you going to leave?" I rubbed my shoulder looking at the deep purple and blue bruises all over.

"Im not sure if i can." He slight smile turned into a near frown.

"Theres got to be a way!" I probably said that too loud.

She put her hand on my shoulder making me flinch in pain, "Reese you need to be quieter," she leaned in closer to my ear, "the other kids don't really trust you."

That made me slightly angry, but i don't care whether they like me or not. Im only trying to protect me friends. I nodded my head and moved her arm off my aching shoulder.

I looked over to Logan, he was talking to another kid, "Hay Ashley, why do you keep pushing Logan away from me?" I was whispering as quiet as i could.

"Well," she rubbed her shoulder, "he didn't say very nice things about you when you were gone. He mostly said you were going to kill everyone so you could leave."

Hearing that made my heart sink deep away into my stomach, he is my best friend why would he say that. I didn't reply to her, i didn't know what to say.

"He was being stupid and now he's acting like he never doubted you." I could tell she was getting angry.

"Oh." I had nothing else to say about that, "I wish i had my phone so i could call the cops."

Her eyes widend, "You have a phone!" She was still trying to be quiet but seemed excited.

"Well yeah, but its gone i checked the first day." I looked down at the floor, i should have kept it in my pocket instead of my bag.

"Well they probably didn't destroy it, its gotta be here!" She grabbed my arm, "we just need to look for it!"

A smile grew on my lips, we had hope for once. "Where do you think it might be?"

She rested her head in her hand for a second, "Does he have an office?"

"Yeah, but theres no way it could be in there. His desk had no drawers and all the book shelfs were so small the books almost feel out of them."
