After the enjoyable time we all had talking to each other and just enjoying ourselves, like we should have been doing the whole time, we head the speaker again "Time to play!" It was Ron this time, he seemed as peppy and creepy as usual. Everyone's happiness soon died into still horror.
Ron walked into the cabin and after cracking his neck a few times he began talking "Im very excited to play this game, I made it up on my own no help from Candice, and you guys are the first to play!" He looked so happy with himself, I couldn't imagine what game a sick mind like his could have made up. I looked at Ashley she was smiling, "what a creep" i kept that to my self but still how did Luke like her? She looked like she belonged in a horror movie, i guess we're already in one. "Are we paying attention campers!" Ron looked frustrated at us "now i will explain the rules, but like i must i will only say them once!" He looked around to make sure everyone was paying attention, we all were. "We are going to go to the common building and once there i will start a ten minute timer, you will look for cards that have pictures of weapons on them" he stared laughing "if you find a card grab it, you need to have a card at the end, but you can keep looking for a better weapon, it's very simple!" He finished with a smile. A girl raised her hand, i was impressed i could barely breath these people scared me so much. I think her name is Liza but im not sure, she could barely talk "Ar-arre we k-killing each other" the nearly threw up she was shaking and looked dizzy. Ron could barely control his excessive laughter, it took him a few minutes before he could just manage "No, no there are others" he kept laughing as he turned around and signaled us to follow him.
We walked slowly because Ron was still controlling his outbursts, i don't understand why it was so funny but in his sick cruel mind who knows. Logan caught up to me and leaned to my ear and whispered so quietly it was hard to here even in the still silence. "Ashley was smiling when Ron was talking, and Luke wont talk to me!" He sounded so concerned and worried. I thought for a second "I didn't notice her in the first game, actually i think she just showed up when we were all talking." Logans eyes widened "You know what, there is supposed to be one empty bed for the kid who, you know."
Before i could answer i felt paralyzed as a chilling hand rested on my back, it was Ashley. She glared at me before smiling, one quick look at Logan and he walked away. I felt as if i was drowning as she began talking to me. "You must be Reese, Luke told me so much about you." Her smile was enough to make a baby cry, although as horrified i was i snorted at the thought of Luke talking about me to another. She looked at me with an eyebrow raised "Whats so funny?" "Oh nothing, just Luke and I aren't the best of friends." Raising her eyebrow even further "Well it does not seem that way, he talked a lot about you!" I just gave her a confused look.
Finally we were at the common building, the huge doors hung over me as we walked in. This building only reminds me of death, horror, and worst of all Candice, oddly she wasn't here now thinking about it we hadn't heard from he since our last game.
Ron smiled as he looked around the room to make sure we were all here, "Ok every one get ready!" We all started to pair up, im not sure why but we always seemed to think this was the best method. At first Katie stood next to me but Ashley grabbed my arm and flashed her eyes at Katie. Not even a second later she was gone and i was with Ashley. Ron had now walked outside and shut the doors, the timer flashed 10:00 and i soon felt nervous what are we going to do with these weapons? I tried not to think about it too much. "GO!" Ron screamed into the speaker.
Ashley held my arm tight and began running, "C'mon all the best ones are on the fourth floor!" She was breathing heavy as she talked. "FOURTH! I didn't even know their was a second!" She laughed at my concerned look. I felt like we were running down the hallway forever but finally we reached the stairs. They looked out of place, they were built into the corner before the hall turned. As we walked up she stopped me and studied me, "An axe" she finally exclaimed. "What?" I didn't understand what she meant at the time. Either she ignored me or didn't hear me but she grabbed my arm again, she did that often, and rushed up the rest of the stairs.Once we reached the top i looked around, it was dark there were few windows and the ones that were, were small dusty and round. It was clearly an attic, there was a large desk filled with papers and pens and clocks. There was covered furniture and paintings all around, a few boxes were scattered in the floor i didn't bother looking at them too carefully.
