Ciera in Media
A'Jahnae
Ever since Aug's party, I have been trying to lay low. Not for the sake of myself, but for the sake of my children. I hated stories about I and Chris making it to TMZ and everywhere else, because they do affect my children socially and I see it. My children should not be affected by anything we do, but I do realize they do, and me staying away from the media would make the whole situation go down.
"Okay, Nile, pour in the egg mix." Me and the kids were making brownies together. I felt like we should all have some quality time together. Jakari takes out Nile, Godparents take out N'Aejah, twins go with theirs, it was just needed that I and the kids spend time together.
"Now, Crystal, stir everything up." Crystal took the spoon and stirred up the brownie mix. "Caitlyn, pour the mix into the pan."
"Mommy, can I lick the spoon?" Nile asked giving me that look I could never deny.
"Of course, Chubbs." I gave it to him. "N'Aejah, put it in the oven, babes." She followed my orders and then we cleaned up the kitchen. After, the twins and Nile went upstairs, leaving it to be me and N'Aejah.
"Mommy, can you cornrow the side of my hair?" She asked.
"Let's go in the living room." I sat on the couch and she sat in between my legs.
"You and Aaron still talk?" I asked beginning to part her hair.
"That's still my best friend." She shrugged. "I saw yesterday on the Shade Room, you and Ciera were fighting?" I knew this would come.
"Everything you see on the Shade Room isn't true-"
"But there was a video." She interrupted. "Y'all fighting over Dad?"
I sighed shaking my head. "She thinks I'm willing to argue with her over petty stuff and I'm not, but I'm not letting nobody come at me sideways. Especially if I don't want to be with your dad on that level. But I apologize for you having to see that.
"Dad told me he wants to be with you. I mean, I want you guys together it's just Ciera gotta go." She pointed to the door.
"That's your father's decision. He knows what he is doing." I simply said, continuing to braid her hair.
"So, why is Dreux coming back around?" I stopped braiding and she looked back. She turned back around as I started her hair again.
"He is just a friend, N'Aejah. I'm not dating him or anything." I said shaking my head.
"I feel like you don't wanna tell me what's going on, and I mean you shouldn't want to, because I'm just your sixteen year old daughter. But once something happens, I should not be expected to let it go because I wasn't aware of it before. Just sayin'." N'Aejah breathed, getting on her phone.
I honestly knew where N'Aejah was coming from. It was time for me to realize my daughter wasn't four anymore, and she would be thinking about who I deal with and complications between I and her father more.
Chris
"What you doin' here, man?" I looked at Ciera on my doorstep with a sweatshirt and some ripped jeans.
"I just wanted to get my stuff." She said quietly, looking down. I looked up at the ceiling then back at her, opening the door more so that she could come in.
"Go head, man." I shrugged sitting in the living room continuing to watch Spongebob Squarepants.
After a couple minutes, Ciera came back from upstairs looking all pitiful. I honestly did not care. I was over the relationship and over her. She was the main reason I and Nae could never get along, and her being out of the way would help me to get my wife back.
