OLD CHAPTER #1

Here's a fun story I thought of at two in the morning. This features a romance with Ashton who is a teacher of a Preschool I've named Riverdale. The kids that go there happen to include Calum, Michael, and Luke... Oh no cx

Ashton just finishes setting up as the kids start coming in. He's expected to have a small class of 16 or so kids. Saying he's excited to be shaping young minds was an understatement.

He spent a lot of the previous night making colorful nameplates for the seats at the table. What he didn't know is that it would be a mistake to put Michael next to Luke.

When all the kids get dropped off, and get settled down in their seats, Ashton begins speaking.

"Hey my little kangaroos! We're going to start off easy and just introduce ourselves today. Like say your favorite animal, color, or hobby along with your name. I'll start us off. I'm Ashton, and I enjoy music!"

A little boy seems to nervously raise his hand. His hair was messy and a dark brown, and his skin is tanner. He looked sort of Asian actually.

"Yes?" Ashton addressed kindly.

"C-Can I go next?" He stuttered.

Ashton smiles, "Of course! What a brave boy you are!"

This makes the little boy beam with pride. After Ashton being so kind, the little boys' confidence only grew.

"I'm Calum, and I like football!" Calum said exitedly.

Ashton smiles, "It's wonderful to meet you Calum, you have great taste in sports."

Kids went by quickly.

Some said what they wanted to be when they got older, like Timmy who wants to be a trash-compacter. Some even said their favorite color, like Macy who said she likes the color of roses.

It soon closed on the last two kids waiting to get a chance to say hello. The little boy with the paper white skin started to introduce himself.

"I'm Mikey, and I like pizza!" Michael said confidently.

Ashton's makes some sort of banter with Micheal about pizza toppings before going to the last child.

This one seemed rather timid, and anxious.

"I-I'm Luke, and I l-like penguins," he nervously stated.

Ashton kneeled down to meet Luke's gaze. "I like penguins as well. They're really cute."

This makes Luke smile, "I like how they're fluffy!"

"Yeah, I heard they're soft as clouds." Ashton knew his words were false as clouds were only floating particles in the air, but he wanted to let the kids dream. He didn't get a chance to do that growing up, so he wants to make sure no kid misses an opportunity to be a kid.

This made Luke gasp, "Really!?"

Ashton confirmed this with a excited nod. This made Luke feel more comfortable with Ashton. He almost forgot he was in a classroom with 15 other kids.

Soon it was free time, where Ashton could figure out who's the trouble-makers were. He soon notices a sad Luke in the corner, being talked down to by Michael, and Calum.

He knew he had to take action on the situation in a way that the kids will remember. He went over, telling Michael and Calum to play while he had an very interesting chat with Luke.
