OLD CHAPTER #6

I sigh, looking at various items in my small red and blue box. SMASH was written on the side in messy black sharpie. I just reminisce about the memories we shared when we were younger. When he wasn't a household name talked about on a daily basis. I'm happy for him, but I just didn't expect him to forget about me so easily.

In the a smaller black box there were two razors. We put them in here, and promised to never use it as an option as again.

There's a purple journal he gave me with little things that reminded him of me.

On the first page there was a doodle of a safety pin, I smile at his messy handwriting underneath it.

You fixed my heart, but saying you fit the pieces back together sounds cliché. So you used a safety pin instead. I'm glad I have someone who can stop time, because life doesn't wait... -Ash xx

I smile chuckling at his adorable nature. I found a rock in the box as well. I can remember this specific one. He tried to be cool and throw rocks at my window, but he didn't really think about the size of the rock. Hence why I still have a broken window. I've never gotten it fixed, though. It just reminds me of him, and of how we used to be. I always wanted to tell him how I felt. Maybe then he wouldn't have forgotten about me...

I go on my Twitter and decide to post a picture of the notebook open to the first page. I never had many followers, nor am following many people. I just tweeted it with the message:

Found this while thinking about an old friend... Sucks to be forgotten.

I toss my phone on the bed and keep going through the box. I found the turtle plush I won him at the fair. He was so excited to have an adult tadpole... What's next, saying a tomato is a strawberry?

I look even further, and I found the letter I was going to give him before I left. I never found myself able to. Suddenly the doorbell rang. I groan annoyed, comfy where I was. I reluctantly leave my comfortable bed, and briskly made my way to the other room. I open the door- "MICHAEL!?"

I hugged him tightly, missing him. He was the only boy who kept in contact with me. He was also the only one who knew that I fancied Ash.

"Did you forget I was following you on Twitter?"

I raise an eyebrow, "No?"

"Did you forget Ash was?"

I tweeted about Ash... and I was dumb enough to forget he was following me.

"He probably doesn't even remember that, let alone that I exist." I say bitterly.

I feel Michael take my hand with a smile, "Come on!"

I let Michael lead me a couple blocks away from my house. I quickly realize he's taking me to his house... Where the boys could be right now.

I stop in my tracks pulling Michael back, "Why are we going to your house?"

He sighs, "It's a surprise. I made a promise not to spoil it."

I just nod, letting him take me the rest of the way. As we get closer my surroundings seem a lot more familiar. I used to hang out with Michael, and Calum a lot. I was always a reject. That's how I met Ash...

"HEY!" Michael yells.

"Michael, you are YELLING!" I exclaim.

He looks at me funny, "Woah."

I raise an eyebrow, "What?"

He shakes his head, "Nothing... We're just here."

He opens the door, and I follow him inside. I great his mum with a hug, apologizing for not visiting sooner. She treats me as if I was her own daughter, which I couldn't be more thankful for. After one last hug, Michael lead me to the garage where the boys always practiced. I remember them always trying out new songs on me, seeing as I was completely honest.
