My eyes widden at her words. How could she know ?
I tried to calm myself.
'' How do you know that I want to be friend with her ? '' I asked
She rolled her eyes like it was obvious. But I stayed serious.
She sighted.
'' When you came in front of the class, your eyes were looking for someone. You stop your gaze when you spot Sully and you smile to her. And not at other people. ''she explained.
I could hear Arthur bursting out at her side.
'' I guess you know her before you came here and you want to become close to her '' she added.
I was impress by her reasoning sense. I noted to myself to be less obvious.
I'm really good to manipulated people but I couldn't forget that I was in a psycology class. Students here were trained to read the minds of people, including mine.
'' So what ? '' I said finally. '' What if I want to be close to her ? ''
'' I already told you. If you want to be friend with her, don't come close to Arthur and me .''
I frowned.
'' Why ? ''
She stayed silent.
I turned my gaze toward Arthur.
'' Why ? '' I asked him.
He sniffed with contempt.
'' Because Sully is ...well, she is not what we can call ... ''
'' She hates us . '' Y/N cut Arthur off. '' Or particulary me but like Arthur is my friend she doesn't like him too ''
I stayed silent for a moment but too many questions were in my head.
'' Why does she hate you ?''
Y/N didn't cross my gaze. I felt she was uneasy with the subject.
'' She hates Y/N because when she came in this college she took the first place on the ranking of the class. And since this moment Sully is only second '' Arthur explained.
The teacher came back and the lesson started again.
I couldn't really concentratred on the class. I glanced at Y/N but she was too busy to write on her notebook.
I didn't know why, but I had the feeling that it wasn't the only reason that Sully hated Y/N. But oddly, Arthur seemed to not see it.
