Chapter 9

The next day I went to school. I spoke with Sully and her friends, ignoring Arthur and Y/N when they passed in front of me.

When I had to sit next to them, I saw that now Arthur was sit next to me and Y/N was next to him.

They didn't even try to speak with me.

It was hard to pass all the classes next to them. I was pretty sure that they hated me. During lunch Sully's friends made jokes about the two of them. I had to cluch my fists under the table. I just laughed with them, trying to be on the good side of Sully.

At the end of the school day I was stress. I didn't know how they will be with me at the café.

I said goodbye to Sully and looked at her leave the college.

When I was sure that she couldn't see me, I crossed the street and entered in the café.

I saw Arthur and Y/N speaking at a table.

I went toward them. Arthur said something and Y/N turned in my direction.

'' What are you doing here? '' she asked without crossing my gaze.

'' I came to help you on the group project. AndI came to apologize to you. '' I said.

She rose an eyebrow,surprise. Arthur was too.

'' Can I sit ? '' I asked.

Arthur pointed a chair and I sat in front of Y/N and next to them.

'' Look, I'm sorry for all the awful things I said yesterday '' I said.

'' Arthur told you, did he? '' she said, glaring her friend.

'' Don't be mad at him. He just wanted to make me understand '' I defended him.

They stayed silent.

'' I'm sorry. I was wrong and I don't how much is it hurt you. I want both of you to know that I want to be friend with you but ... ''

'' But Sully, isn't it ?'' she followed.

'' I have to be friend with her for reasons I can't tell you '' I said.

It wasn't really subtle of me. They were surely curious about the reasons, but they didn't ask any questions. I was glad.

'' And I can show that I'm friend with you in front of her so ... ''

'' It's okay. You can spend time with us after class and tell her that we have to make our group project '' Arthur said, smiling to me. '' I'm glad that someone not fell in the trap of Sully. ''

I sight in my head; At least Arthur was accepting me. I turned toward Y/N.

'' Can you forgive me ? I'll understand if you can't '' I said to her.

'' I forgive you but one thing like that again and don't come near me again '' she responded.

I smiled to her.

  '' Then , do we begin our group project ? '' she said
