Chapter 23

We ran to the Batmobile and looked at the GPS put on Dr Strange's car. He was driving near of close down building in Gotham.

During the drive, I explained everything to  Batman. I explained who is Y/N and what she means to me. 

I had in my hand, the paper with her name and her picture. I looked at her beautiful eyes and her smile. I prayed for her. 

She couldn't die now. I had to talk with her, to explained everything. I had to take her in my arms and kiss her lips. I had to apologize to her.

   ~time skip ~

We arrive in front of the close down building. Dr Strange's car was park in frontof it. 

We entered. It was a dark hallway, but at the end we could see a door ajar, where light spraid. People were talking inside of the room.

We step closer and I looked inside. I let out a sight of relief. I saw Y/N with a box in her hands. She was looking at Dr Strange with a strange look. Sully was also here, near of her father.

  '' Why are you moving so quickly ? '' Y/N asked to Dr Strange. 

  '' People send me threats '' he responds. 

  '' Do you take me with you ? '' she asked again.

  '' Of course dear '' he said with a fawnig voice. 

I could see Sully smiled with a dangerous appearance. Y/N gave the box to Sully. 

  '' I didn't make my luggage '' she said.

  '' I did it for you '' 

 Sully disappeared of my vision. 

   '' Do we go now ? '' Y/N asked.

  '' Yes ''

They were about to walked at the end of the room when I ran inside and grabbed Y/N's arm.

I took her behind my back protectively as Batman ran after Dr Strange. They disapeared behind a door. 

Y/N fought back, trying to free her arm.

  '' Let me go Robin '' she screamed. 

  '' Never '' I said '' I try to protect you ''

  She stopped to fight and looked at me surprise.

   '' From what ? ''

  '' Dr Strange '' 

  '' He'll never try to hurt me. He is like my father. And why do you want to protect me ? We don't know each other ''

I had to tell her so I took off my mask.

She looked at me with shocked. '' Damian ? ''

She stepped back. '' Stay away' from me. You lied to me. I don't trust you. '' 

  '' I'm so sorry for what I did to you. But I had to. What I said and what I did this day werent true. I did it because I needed to have the trust of Sully. ''

  '' Why ? ''

  '' I had to find a way to enter in her house because of Dr Strange. He made experimentations on people and some of them try to kill people. He's a dangerous man. ''

She shook her head '' I don't believe you. He is a good man . He saved me from the street after people made experimentation on me ! '' 

I looked at her. She had tears rolling down her face. 

 '' I'm sorry Y/N but he isn't the man you think he is.  He was part of the people who made experimentation on you ''

 '' You lie ! YOU LIE !''

  '' If I lie, I couldn't find your file in one of his office. '' I said as I showed her the paper. '' and you see the red cross ? ''

She nodded, shaking 

 '' Other files had red cross and we found the dead bodies of the people they belong to. He never wanted to take you with him. He was going to kill you. ''

I came toward her and hugged her. Her thin frame shook in my arms as she cried. '' It's a lie. Tell me it's just a nightmare. Tell me it's just a lie '' she whispered in my ear. 

  '' I'm sorry Y/N,it's not. But I'm here and I'll never let you down. ''

She nodded. I kissed the top of her head, rubbing her back.

Suddenly I heard Batman calling me. I looked at her. '' Stay here. I'll be right back okay ? ''

Then I put back my mask and ran toawrd my father.
