Promise me ( Damian Wayne x reader )

Chapter 15

I took her hand between mine and looked straight in her eyes.

  '' I promise you '' I sais sincerely.

   '' I already told you that I was adopted by a man but something happened and it changed me ''

She took back her hand and turned around, her back facing me.

  '' I never said that to anyone. Only Dr Strange and Sully know. '' her voice shaked.

  '' You can trust me '' I affirmed.

  '' I know. '' She said . '' i don't know why but I have the feeling that i can trust you.''

At her words, my heart warmed. 

  '' It was years ago. I came back from school and entered in the house I lived with my new father. It was dark inside. That's weird because he didn't like darkness. I heard strange sound in the living room. When I entered in the room, I saw two men in black and my father was laying on the floor in his own blood. ''

I saw her shoulders shaked lightly.

  '' I screamed and I tried to run away but one of the men caught me and hit the back of my head hard. I passed out immediatly. When I woke up I ... I was tied up to a table n-naked in a room all white.  I w-was te-terrified. I s-screamed for help b-b-ut no o-one responded. ''

I could heard she was crying. I back hugged her. 

  '' If you'r not ready to tell me, don't force yourself '' I said worry.

  '' N-no it's o-okay. I want to tell you. ''

She took a deep breath.

   '' Then two men in white came in the room. They said that I was chose along time ago and that my father took me away from them. My adoption wasn't predicted. It shouldn't happened. 

Then they injected me things in my body. It was so painful. It was like my body was burning by inside. I passed out few times. Then the dolor faded away. ''

She leaned against my chest and let out a shaking breath. 

   '' One of them took a kn-nife and he ... he st-tabbed me in the chest and ... ''

She broke into tears. I thighted my hug.

   '' it's okay. Everything is okay now ''I murmured to her ear.

She burried her head in the crook of my neck.

   '' I f-f-felt the awful p-p-pain. I wish-shed to d-d-die. And the men only looked at-t me. But soon enough, the wound stopped bleeding and it healed in few hours. It was a such a relief. ''

She had a dry laugh.

  '' They said I wasn't working. Then they gave me something to wear and put me in a van. They stopped the van  in the middle of the streets of Gotham. They puched me outside and left me. I lived a week in the streets and Dr Strange finaly found me. ''

She turned toward me. She was now sat on my laps. 

  '' He saved me. Since that day I have been a monster. Each time I'm hurt, I feel all the pain but it cure faster ''

Her eyes were full of ghost and I could felt her fear.

  '' Do you think I'm a sort of monster now ? '' she asked  looking down.

I took her chin between my fingers, making her look in my eyes.

  ''Quite the opposite indeed. '' i said softy. '' All the pain you went through make you more beautiful in my eyes ''

A tear fell down her cheek. I wipped it quikly. 

  '' Really ? ''

I nodded and leaned toward her until our lips met.
