It was still crazy to think that just two weeks ago, Sage and I were just boyfriend and girlfriend and now, here we were engaged and packing our suitcases for out trip to Costa Rica tomorrow. November 24th will forever be one of my favorite days. It's been three weeks since we got engaged and every day since has been amazing. Sage and I have decided to get married over the summer and it will be at Florida more specifically at Disney world.
We agreed to wait until our wedding day to have sex and honestly I couldn't be happier with our decision. I don't know how anyone could just have sex. Is it sad that I haven't had sex with anyone my entire life and that I want safe myself for my husband? My classmates and coworkers think it's stupid to wait but to be honest, our relationship isn't based on sex.
We spend our free time watching movies, cooking together, going to the park with our dogs and hanging out with our family and at home we just enjoy each other's company with the occasional kiss here and there but nothing more ever happens.
Any way, today was December 16,2017 meaning there was a week and one day until our trip to Costa Rica and I was so excited. I've never been outside of the country before so this was going to be fun. I'm currently packing my suitcase knowing that I'll rearrange it again at least three more times before our flight.
"How many times have you rearranged your suitcase already?" Sage asked with a raised brow as he leaned against the doorframe with his arms crossed over his chest and I bite my lip with a sheepish smile
"I just want to make sure I'm not forgetting anything" I said and he rolled his eyes walking over and crouching down
"I'm sure you'll remember something in the morning baby, it's already 2 in the morning" he said and I frowned looking at the clock on the night stand and sure enough it was 2 am so I sighed nodding.
"Okay" I mumbled and that's when I noticed just exhausted I was. I've been so preoccupied with having everything in order to realize that I was tired until was in bed with Sage wrapped around me like a vine.
"Sleep" he murmured when I was about to get up again to check my suitcase and I sighed. I hate not knowing if I had everything in place but reluctantly I laid down and willed my eyes to close.
The following morning I woke up at 9 and the first thing to pop in my head was check the suitcase but the grumble in my stomach made me huff. I made a detour to the kitchen where Sage was against standing at the stove. I bit my lip as I watched him and couldn't help but think how lucky I am to wake up to this every morning.
