The phone ringing relentlessly at 3 in the morning on a Thursday woke Sage and I from our sleep making me groan. The ringing stopped a few seconds later only to pick up once again and groaned stretching his arm to grab his blaring phone while I did the same with mine. Wincing at the brightness of my phone, I slid the bar and pressed the phone to my ear

"Hello?" I answered stifling a yawn

"Avery? Oh thank god, listen Julian is in labor and he really wants you there-" Kennedy rambled and I tuned the rest of his words out and jumped  out of bed much like Sage was doing

"Yeah, yeah we'll be there in 10 minutes" he was saying as he threw on a sweatshirt then put on some pants before helping me into a pair of sweatpants and gave me one of his sweatshirts before leading me down the stairs to the front to put our shoes on. I had already hung up on Kennedy reassuring him that we'd be there soon.

Sage had to put my shoes on for me due to my 7 month belly. It's crazy to think that in just a few short hours, Julian will be welcoming his baby girl while Sage and I had to wait two more months for our baby boy to be born.

We had announced the baby's sex during Christmas and everyone had been excited all congratulating us on the news while Julian fist bumped saying "I knew it. I fucking knew it" only to to get a light tap on his leg from Kennedy telling him that there were children present which had Julian apologizing none stop while the parents chuckled and said it was alright.

Now here we are rushing to the hospital to be by Julian and Kennedy's side as they welcomed their baby girl. They decided to name her Cameron Amara and it's the most beautiful name ever.

"How long until we get there?" I asked as Sage pulled off the highway

"2 minutes" he replied and true to his word, we pulled into the hospital parking lot two minutes later and once he had shut the engine off, we got out and made our way inside where Kennedy was waiting for us

"How far are his contractions?" I asked as we sped walked down the corridor of the hospital to Julian's room

"Every 2 minutes" he answered before opening the door to the room

"Fuck" Julian screamed as he held onto the railings on the bed with clenched eyes. Kennedy was at his side a second later and brushed his hair out of the way

"God this fucking hurts" Julian whimpered before releasing a breath

"Hey" I murmured walking to his bedside and he looked up and gave me pain filled smile

"Hi" he mumbled before his eyes screwed up again and grabbed Kennedy's hand in a tight grip as another contraction hit

"When was the last time the doctor came to see you?" Sage asked and Kennedy with a wince answered

"Ten minutes ago. Said he'd be back shortly but he hasn't returned yet"

"I texted my mom on our way here and told her that Julian was in labor and said she'll be here in a little bit to check on him" I said and not even a second later was there a knock on the door and my mom was walking in dressed in her scrubs

"How are you doing kiddo?" She asked pulling the little chair over and sitting at the end of the bed. Sage had taken a seat on the sofa by the wall while I stood at Julian's left side with Kennedy at his right

"Like I'm about to start pushing" Julian said and my mom nodded and had the nurses set up while she checked his dilation, "we don't have time to give him any medicine"

"I have to push" he whimpered and did just that making my mom curse and put in a coat thing before getting back to her place between Julian's legs
