Appearance: District 4 girls always wear this blinding smile on their face, their eyes have some amazing sea colour and their hair is sunnier than the actual sun. Dumosa is glad to say that she isn't such a beach girl, doesn't have exciting turquoise eyes or that dazzling smile. Not being noticed has been her main priority for some time and with her rather plain brown hair and washed out blue eyes, she is mostly overseen.
She likes herself despite not being typical, or especially because of this. It makes her feel outstanding even though she really isn't.
Personality: Dumosa never tried to be the typical District 4 sunshine girl. She always preferred being different by making it obvious that she doesn't really care for looks or other people's opinion. She doesn't give a damn about fish or anything connected to working with the sea which is indeed a bit atypical for a girl from District 4. The ocean is beautiful and she loves the calm power it has. Taking long walks at the beach is her favourite way to spend her time.
Due to having a loving family and a little brother she adores, Dumosa has come to love children very much, so she's been working in the youngster training centre for some time now. The most important person in her life however is her cousin. These two are close enough to say that they would not hesitate to die for the other.
Reason for Sacrifice: Dumosa overheard a conversation between her mum and her cousin, in which her cousin stated that she wanted to volunteer as a sacrifice in order to create a better future for Panem. Shocked to the core and scared for her beloved friend, Dumosa did the most stupid and reckless thing she has ever done: she volunteered before her cousin had the chance to, ignoring the fact that she was darn afraid of dying and her cousin would probably never forgive her.
History: Having grown up in a small house near the sea without any neighbours except for her aunt and cousin, Dumosa has come to love the calm and the nature.
Together with her cousin, she explored the forests and the sea, teaching her what things they could eat and how to catch some smaller animals. The two girls share a deep bond, even deeper than the bond Dumosa shares with her baby brother, whom she loves very dearly.
Family is her main priority and she will always try to keep all of them safe. Should this include dying... then so be it.
Token: The cousin's golden name bracelet that she got when she was born. (They switched the bracelets when they were 6.)
Other: Grizzly vs. Rodent actually isn't a fight Dumosa wants to be a part of. Nonetheless she will do her very best to appease the Furry Fury.
