"What!" Me and Ashlee yell at my mom. We have just been told that we are moving to London for my moms new job.
"Girls you will be fine. London is a very nice place for you to make new friends" she says calmly but me and Ashlee don't agree. "Ashlee just started living with us and now we are moving what the fuck!" I angrily say. "Joyce watch your language, and yes I know that I have already informed Ashlee's parents about this decision so everything is settled. We are moving to London"
My names is Joyce. I am 17 and my best friend Ashlee lives with me. She lives with me because her parents are very busy business people and travel a lot. She is also 17 years old. And now we are moving to London for my moms new job.
I've heard a lot about London but I never dreamt of going there. For some reason I have a feeling of excitement for this move.
"Joyce. Are you okay" Ashlee enters our room sitting next to me. "Yeah don't worry. Are you feeling like. Excited about this move" I ask her and she nods making my eyes widen.
"I feel like this decision is gonna benefit us in a good way" she says shrugging. "Hopefully" I whisper.
"Your mom just told me that she already got the tickets and we leave in two weeks" Ashlee tells me sadly and I nod weakly. "I'm gonna miss everyone" I blurt out "I will to Joyce. I will too" Ashlee falls back on her bed sighing.
