SEVEN

The Next Day

I wake up quite early. Memories from yesterday flood in as I sit up straight in my bed. "Hey honey, you seem happy today" Mom walks in sitting at the edge of my bed.

"Just thinking" I smile at her. "Well why don't you go and get ready and then tell me more" her smile still wide as she closes my bedroom door.

I quickly get ready after taking a shower. My outfit contains black ripped jeans and a white Criminal Damage long sleeve and all black Adidas Originals. I walk out of my room fixing myself a little.

To my shock there stood Simon at my door speaking with my mom. "Uh Simon" I say awkwardly causing both of them face me. "H-hey Joyce I came here to pick you up if that's okay" Simon says scratching the back of his neck.

"Yeah that's fine I guess" chuckling lightly at my statement I see my mom looking at me suspiciously. "Well you kids go on then. Simon get yourselves some food since I'm guessing you haven't eaten either" Mom nicely says.

"Wait where's Ashlee" I say looking around for her. "Relax Harry came earlier to pick her up" Simon chuckles and my cheeks flush.

"Well we should get going. Bye Mom" I kiss her cheek and walk out of the flat with everything I need. "Your mom seems nice" Simon breaks the silence. "Yeah once you get to know her she is a really kind person" I say smiling at past thoughts.

"Okay so your mom ordered me to get you food. What do you want" Simon said causing both of us to burst out laughing. "She didn't order you, and you can pick I don't mind" I politely said as we approached his car.

I entered his car slowly as I put my bag on the ground and checking to see I have everything. Once I was fully in I buckled my seatbelt and relaxed. "Are you okay with McDonald's" he asks whilst backing up from his previous parked spot.

"Yes I'm down with that, should we buy the rest something" I asked and just shook his head "Nah they probably already got food".

Soon enough we eventually get our food. "Gosh Simon you took ages to order" I say out of breath from laughing the whole time we were ordering. "It's not my fault I couldn't understand what she was saying" he retorts back. Eventually both of us are in a fit of laughter.

"Okay calm the fuck down we are here" Simon said stopping at a parking space. I walk out of the car grabbing everything I needed. As well as the food which I grab holding it against my chest.

Simon comes towards me walking next to me the whole way to the doors. "Here take the bag, I will meet you in the cafeteria in like 5 minutes" Simon nods walking in the direction of the cafeteria as I walk to my locker.

Opening my locker and throwing all of things in I hear loud clicking footsteps come towards me. To my first thought I think it's a teacher so I keep my head down but I was wrong.

"Hey new girl" a voice spit at me. I slowly turned to see who it was. There stood a girl with long blond hair, a plain white crop top with white jeans and pink heels. She was joined by a couple other girls who were stood behind her. She had a fuming face which made me both hide in fear but still confusion was visible. "Uh h-hi I'm Joyce" I stammer looking up at the girl. "Yeah I know. Now what your gonna do is stay away from Simon, yeah" she states smiling mockingly innocent. My eyes widen and my brows furrow. "Wait what. Why is that needed. I'm not staying away from my friend" I say speaking louder than her as well as taking steps towards her.

"Your gonna leave him alone because I told you so. I know your new here but this is one thing. Always do what I say" she speaks through clenched teeth and I chuckle.

"Okay I don't need to listen to you because you know nothing about me so it would be the best option" I say smirking whilst pushing past her hearing gasps all around the halls.

I finally walk into the cafeteria seeing Simon tapping his fingers along the table with his head down. I pout. I run over towards him. "I'm sorry Si I got caught up at my locker" I apologize sitting next to him. His head lifts up in a quick movement. "It's okay don't worry" he said grabbing the bag of food.

We still have about 15 minutes till the bell rings. He passes me my food and grabs his own. "So what happened at your locker" he says while biting into his food. "Oh it's just this one girl came up to me saying I need to leave you alone and I obviously said I don't need to listen to her" I simply said making Simon freeze. "Was this girl wearing pink heels" Simon said looking towards me with big eyes. "You back talked against Emily Howles" he said in disbelief.

"Is that a bad thing" I say continuing to look into his widened eyes. "Well uh your net so she won't do much" he said chuckling nervously.

The bell soon rings and I say bye to Simon. The way over there I think. Who is this Jenny girl? Did I do something bad? Even if I did would I get hurt or something?

Pushing away all my thoughts as I walk into Science sitting next to Tobi once again.
