THIRTY FIVE

Simons POV

"Joyce Borbon" we hear a doctor say and we all stand up. All of us have been sitting in a waiting for for over an hour. "Is there a family member here" the doctor asks and we all stand there.

"I'm here brother" Tobi says and the doctor nods signaling him to follow.

Tobis POV

Me and the doctor walk into a hospital room. "At the moment Joyce is on a medication so she can sleep. Is there anything Joyce did that would've stressed her out. She passed out due to stress that her brain couldn't handle. Her breathing was rapid when she came in here. She will be let out in about two days we just need to do more check ups on her" the doctor said as I nodded. He left the room leaving me with Joyce.

I pull up a chair next to her grabbing her hand. "Hey sis. Don't get to stressed anymore, if you ever are stressed call me and I will be there for you. Your gonna be okay Joyce, your gonna be okay" I said kissing the back of her hand.

I lay my head down on her bed and close my eyes.

Simons POV

The doctor has given us permission to visit Joyce in her room. "Simon you can go first" they tell me and I nod rushing out of the room. I open the door slowly seeing Tobi and Joyce both asleep.

I walk over to Tobi and tap his shoulder. He groans before opening one eye. "Oh hey Simon, the doctor said she is okay now but she was in a huge amount of stress which caused her to pass out. Do you know anything that could've happened that caused the stress" Tobi asked me. I hung my head low.

"Simon, what happened" Tobi said sounding frustrated. "I told her" I said hoping Tobi already knew what I was talking about. "Why Simon" he said. "Because I couldn't help it, I looked her in the eyes and I saw the girl I fell in love with. Then I said it" I said before falling to my knees. "Simon hey it's alright okay, she's okay" Tobi says as he ran up to me helping me up.

"She didn't believe me, she said I need to think about what I told her, then she left" I say hiccuping sobs. "Simon man it's gonna get better. Just give it time" Tobi tells me helplessly . I nod. "I will get the others" Tobi says standing up walking to the door. I sit in the chair Tobi was previously on and grab Joyce's hand.

"Baby I know your still there, get better soon" I said softly kissing her forehead. I feel her hand squeeze mine and her heart rate speed up. "It's just me Joyce, don't worry" I said rubbing her hand as her heart race slows down. Her eyes begin to twitch causing me to look in concern.

I hear her mumble something I couldn't understand. Then the door opens revealing all the others. Lucas comes running towards Joyce on the other side of the bed. He grabs one of her hands squeezing it tight in his hand. "Joyce, buddy it's okay, your gonna be okay" He says caressing her cheek with one hand.

This suddenly gave me a weird feeling in my stomach. Was I jealous. I want her to be mine but her and Lucas have a connection. Maybe Tobi was right, I need to give it time.

"Simon let me talk to you outside for a minute" Stewart tells me and I nod following him out. "So what happened" he asks leaning against his back on the wall.

"I kinda told her already" I said rubbing the back of neck. "You what! Simon why. You know it's not gonna work" Stewart says. "I know I just got carried away. I'm sorry" I said sitting on the floor ashamed. "Simon it's alright mate. Just don't mention anything about it to her in the meanwhile" he says patting my shoulder. I nod not moving my body off the ground. "Simon calm down" I say to myself as I breath in and out slowly.

"Simon we're gonna head off now. Stay safe" JJ said as he leaves the hospital room. Everyone has already left leaving me alone in the room with Joyce.

I see Joyce's eye twitch like last time. Although this time it happened much longer than before. "Joyce," I say before seeing her eyes flutter open in a slow motion. Her eyes open but turn into a squint probably because of the lighting.

"Joyce" I say seeing her head turn towards me.

Joyce's POV

Fuck my head hurts. I hear faint conversations around me. My eyes felt heavy, as if I couldn't open my eyes.

With everything I had I tried to open my eyes. Soon I saw a bright light in front of my eyes causing me to squint. The suddenly I hear a voice. 

"Joyce" it sounded familiar but I couldn't tell who it was. I turn my head towards the sound seeing dirty blond hair. I blink my eyes several times before being able to fully see. As my vision goes back to normal I see a face. One that belongs to Simon Minter.

"Simon" I say weakly seeing him smile. "Hey ba- I mean Joyce" he said pursing his lips. "What was that" I ask. "Nothing just a simple hi" he said quickly making me drop the topic.

"What happened" I asked feeling the pain in my head return. "You were really stressed out earlier so you passed out and we brought you here, do you remember anything" he says sounding quite cautious. "No my head hurts a lot and I can't think" I said bringing my hand up to my forehead. He nods his head pursing his lips. "Why did something happen" I ask. "No nothing major happened" he says sounding a little sad making me wonder.

"Simon, hey are you okay you seem sad" I ask reaching over to grab his hand. I pull his hand into mine with both hands. "Don't worry about it okay, all you need to do is relax" Simon tells me as he pulls his hand away. I frown at his actions.

But deciding to not push it I just pile my hands on my stomach and close my eyes falling into another dreamless sleep.
