The butterflies in Laura's stomach were out of control. Sebastian had texted her fifteen minutes ago saying she needed to get ready ASAP and that there was an emergency. Thoughts began to consume her and she imagined every scenario from bad to worse. She had no idea what was going on since her boyfriend decided not to answer any of her texts.
A knock on the door startled Laura out of her thoughts and she practically ran to and flung open the door. Sebastian was smiling at her on the other side of the entryway, calm as could be.
"What is so important? Did something happen? Is someone hurt?"
"I just wanted to see you," Sebastian said, almost bashfully.
"I-I can not believe you. You had me so damned scared!"
"I'm sorry, babe. Here, I got you flowers."
"Oh, Seb."
They were her favorite, unknown to him.
"They're not the prettiest, but I thought it was a nice gesture, so I thought why no- Oh, you're kissing me!"
Laura glared at him, "Sebastian, babe, shut up and kiss me back."
