Laura and Sebastian had been on the couch in her living room for the past hour. There were half-watching some action movie he picked out that neither cared about too much. They weren't too close but their legs just barely touched the other's, testing the waters.

Laura had been stealing side glances of the man next to her. Too lost in her thoughts about him to pay attention to what was happening on the screen in front of her.

Images of what could be flashed through her head, though she would never admit that. She thought she was being silly. Sure they had an obvious connection and innocently flirted with each other, but they were just being friendly.

Sebastian was pretending not to notice the obvious staring from the girl to his left. After a few more minutes of trying to ignore her looks, he turned his head to fully face Laura. To her embarrassment, he met her eyes mid-stare, causing a deep blush to form from her neck and up to her cheeks.

"Hi," Sebastian smirked at her, knowing he caught her.

"Hey," Laura squeaked out, followed by a small cough.

"Are you having fun staring?"

"I can't help myself. How am I supposed to focus on the movie when you're right beside me?"

Sebastian's eyes narrowed, "Oh! Is that the game you're trying to play?

"No clue what you're talking about."

"Well, you look pretty suspicious, just over there staring!" He laughed.

"I am not," she gently slapped his arm, "I'm simply enjoying the view."

"This view?"

Sebastian abruptly turned his whole body with a small jump so he was facing Laura head-on and stuck his face right in front of hers with a laugh.

Laura's breath hitched. She hadn't expected him to get so close to her and so fast. Her eyes began to look over all the little details she's never noticed and before she realized what was happening, her eyes betrayed her and flicked down to Sebastian's lips that were now just inches from hers. She quickly looked back up at him, to see his boyish smirk replaced with a nervous smile.

Subconsciously his hand lifted to her cheek, his palm caressing her face. The two began to lean in. It was almost simultaneous, impossible to tell who kissed who first. Laura gasped in shock as their lips met but quickly melted into kiss.

She pulled away from him sooner than either would like, but both had a smile on their face. With a newfound rush of confidence, Laura moved from her seated position and pushed herself up on her knees so she and Sebastian were against one another.

Before Sebastian had time to react, Laura wrapped her arms around his neck and placed a few small kisses on the corners of his mouth before a final deep kiss on his lips. It was his turn to be shocked. However, as soon as her fingers reached his hair, Sebastian met her ferocity. His arms snaked around her waist and back, somehow pulling her even closer.

He felt her fingers gently tug on longer strands on top of his head and let out a small groan, followed

by a low chuckle against her lips. Sebastian's tongue lazily ran along her bottom lip, silently asking for more. Laura allowed him to deepen the kiss, their tongues roaming together.

Sebastian pulled away, remembering through the clouds in his mind that they both needed to breathe. He used this small break to position himself so he was sat normally on the couch and grabbed the back of Laura's thighs to pull her into his lap. She now straddled him, her knees on either side of his body.

He could tell she was out of breath, they both were practically panting. Laura lowered her head for another kiss, but Sebastian placed his face into the crook of her neck. His warm breath tickled her skin and gave her goosebumps. Her head leaned to the opposite side as he began to place small kisses against her soft skin.

Sebastian once again pulled away and Laura threw her head back at the sudden lack of contact. He placed his hand on the nape of her neck and guided her head to look back towards him.

Their eyes were hooded with their lips red and pouty. Sebastian thought he had never seen someone so beautiful as he moved to start another round of kisses when Laura's phone rang. The pair let out of a groan of annoyance.

Laura sighed deeply as she pulled herself away from Sebastian to go grab her phone.

She looked at the caller id. Kayla.

Of course.

"Hello?" Laura said with slight annoyance.

"Did I interrupt something?" Kayla asked.

"As a matter of fact, you did. What do you need?"

"You have got to help me. It's an emergency. My agent wants new photos and I have nothing to wear."

Laura gave her friend a small laugh, "You are so dramatic! Why do you need my help?"

"Lauraaaaaaa! Please, I'll be over in a few minutes."

"Okay, fine. Let me get ready. I'll see you soon."

"Bye, love you!"

Laura turned to face Sebastian, a nervous look on her face because she knew she had to leave.

"I guess you're leaving?" Sebastian asked, even though he already knew the answer.

"Seb, I'm so sorry. My friend needs my help at the worst possible times." Laura walked towards him with her shoulders drooped, thinking he was upset with her.

"That's okay! I get it. I'll see you later though, yeah?"

He wrapped his arms around her waist, then walked her backward as he stood up. Her arms returned to their earlier position around his neck, their lips met again.

"I'll make it up to you, I promise," she told him, muffled by the kiss.

Sebastian pulled his head back a few inches, then placed his forehead against hers.

"Oh, I bet you will." He gave her a sly smirk and Laura let out a laugh.

"You're ridiculous. Come on, we gotta get you out of here before Kayla comes."

Laura helped Sebastian gather the few belongings he brought with him. She guided him over to the door, opening it so he could step into the hallway.

"Well, I guess this is goodbye. I had fun tonight Laura."

"I did too, Seb. Talk to you soon."

As Laura began to close the door, Sebastian stopped her and gave her one last peck. They pulled away shortly with smiles on their faces.

"Goodbye, Sebastian!"
