After Laura's mom passed away, Sebastian did everything in his power to try to make her happy. He showered her with love, kisses, and hugs. He even got her the puppy she'd been "indirectly" hinting about for the past three months. However, nothing he did seemed to work. Sebastian knew this wasn't easy for Laura and that'd it be a long road for the two of them to go down, but Sebastian was hurting. He not only had to see the girl he loved more than the planets and stars combined push away all of her friends, but him too. Slowly Laura stopped talking to him and reacting to his affections, rarely even mumbling an "I love you." Sebastian told himself over and over again she was just grieving and that he needed to be there for her whether she showed it or not, but as time went on it was getting harder and harder to stay, until one day he left.

One Tuesday morning Laura locked herself in the bathroom and refused to let anyone in. Sebastian knocked on the door until his knuckles felt like they would fall off and his throat was so scratchy from begging her to come out, he could barely talk. Then with one final knock, Sebastian couldn't control himself.

He sprinted to her bedroom and dug the small suitcase out from under their bed. He threw all of thenclothes he could immediately find into the suitcase, zipped it, and stormed out of the apartment without another word to Laura.

It wasn't until the door slammed behind Sebastian that Laura opened the bathroom door, and in one final act of desperation called out "Seb."
