Heroes are any Monster/Demon that succeed in at least three quests. Many die, trying to become a Hero. However, Heroes don’t just become almighty powerful or anything, even though some Mistresses/Gods/Goddesses may bestow their favor on some. Demons
Demons are just like Monsters in the fact that they can look like whatever. Demons aren’t always evil, and a good chunk of them are good. Demons are created whenever a Hero/going-to-be-a-Hero fails and feel hatred for it. They are also made when a Monster departs and is filled with angst, when someone decides to become a Demon for whatever reason, or even when a Monster is born and its soul is split and a Demon is formed along with the Monster. Some Monsters are just born as Demons for a hidden reason, and no one but a few (even themselves) know they are Demons. Just because they are Demons doesn’t mean that they are evil. Demons are widely rejected, but a few places tolerate them or are run by them. In some rare cases, Demons can become not-Demon (ReClaimed) and keep their abilities (that is how Monsters with three abilities are born, from when a ReClaimed is Paired with a Monster). Demons can have up to three abilities, and they are much, much stronger than a Monster’s abilities. Demons cannot be Paired together unless a Hero sacrifice (a Monster Hero) is willingly made. Demon Pairs can result in an ultra-powerful Pure-Demon being made. (THIS IS VERY RARE! PLEASE, DO NOT MAKE YOUR CHARACTER ONE UNLESS I SAY I HAVE AN OPEN SPOT!!!) Demons have the same abilities as Monsters, but more than half have more specific abilities or different categories (rain, cloud, light, darkness [in the sense of the absence of light], wind, sound etc).
