Harry
The moon was rising high over head, the stars shining brightly, clouds drifting along. Harry turned his attention away from the window and back to their game of exploding snap. So far, Ginny was in the lead, then Ron, and in last, everyone's favorite Boy-Who-Lived-Twice. The raven haired boy was constantly distracted by any small object or scenery, which consequently led him to last place.
"Hey, Harry. You alright?" Ginny asked, speaking in a concerned motherly tone
"Yeah, yeah. I'm fine, just a bit distracted, that's all." He replied with a wave of his hand.
"Oh, okay." The redhead girl responded. Soon, the other Weasley was speaking as well.
"Oi Harry, are you thinking of playing quidditch outside of Hogwarts?" Ron asked, apparently trying to make some light conversation.
"Ah I don't know. I honestly really enjoy quidditch, but now, everyone just lets me win. It's a tad bit annoying, you know..." Harry said, trailing off in the end. The last time he had talked about the sport, it had been at the beginning of the year, when he told Ginny that he would not return as the captian and also broke up with her. Well, it was really the girl who broke it up. She told him there was someone else, but was not ready to say anything. Harry was truly relieved, he didn't want a relationship at the moment, for it would add to his stress, and he had seen Ginny for so little time over the course of a year.
"So Ginny, didn't you say you were dating someone?" The Gryffindor tried to switch the conversation around to include Ginny, but he also very much wondered whom this mystery person is.
"Well um..." the girl started, blushing madly.
"Yeah, come on, Gin, whose the lucky man?" Ron jumped in.
"Well the thing is, it's not exactly a man, per se. It's a girl. I'm pansexual." She replied, still blushing wildly, but very calm.
"Oh..." Ron responded after a moment "Well I didn't expect that. Well now you just gave me more questions. One, what the sodding hell does pansexual mean, two, who is she?"
"Alright, so being pan means you are attracted to any gender, I think. Male, female, people who don't have genders, people that switched. All. And the girl is, well, here she comes."
The three looked around the common room. There were a handful of other students, and it appeared that only one was making their way to the group playing the games. Luna Lovegood. The blonde took a seat next to the red-headed girl. She took a look around and started speaking in her usual misty voice.
"Hmm, it seems as though some Wernstrouts have found this arrangement quite suitable for their needs.."
"So this is your girlfriend, Gin?" Ron asked astonished, Ginny just shot him a glare for the lack of subtly.
"Yes, me and Ginny have been dating for a year and five months now" Luna said, looking around for some sort of invisible creature.
The group of friends talked for a while before retiring to their bedrooms, they would have spoken for much longer, had they not had classes the next morning.
---
"Oi, lazy arse, I brought you back a treacle tart." the ginger said, shoving a tray of food to the, now moving lump, under the covers.
"Ron, I love you mate, but its six-thirty in the morning, why were you at breakfast so early? I thought it didn't start 'til seven. Just let me sleep." said a disgruntled Savior-of-the-Wizarding-World.
