After being engaged for four years we decided to start planning for our wedding. I decided to go wedding gown shopping. So I stopped into a bridal shop and went up to the manager of the shop and said, "I'm here to pick out a wedding gown." "Oh I see, well, how can I help?" "I'm looking for a longstrapless gown." "Oh, I see. There are several strapless gowns back this way, follow me." So then I followed the woman back to where the wedding gowns were kept. I stopped in front of one and I told the woman, "I think I want this one." "Is there anyone here to see this?" "No, no one came with me." "Does your fiancee know about this?" "Yes, he does, ma'am." "Okay, alright then." So then after I found my wedding gown I took it home and put it away, so that Scotty wouldn't see it. After I got home I put away my wedding gown so that it wouldn't get wrinkled or stained before the wedding. Once that was done and put away, I decided to rehearse what I was going to say to Scotty when it was my turn to say my vows to him. "Scotty, you are the man who has brought me from darkness into the light of Jesus Christ." After I practiced it a couple times, I thought that I'd memorize it. Scotty did the same thing by looking over his wedding vow and memorizing his also. His wedding vow was, "Kelly, you are the woman who has been on my mind ever since we met. Thank you for being there for me whenever I needed you, you were there." After we said our vows, the preacher asked me, "What sign of love do you give?" "This ring." So then I slipped a silver wedding band on his left ring finger. Then the preacher looked at Scotty and asked, "What sign of love you give?" "This ring." Then he slipped a ring on my finger that had diamonds on it on my left ring finger. After that, the preacher said to us, "I now pronounce you husband and wife. Scotty, you may kiss your bride." So then he lifted my veil and gave me a kiss and whispered in my ear, "I love you forever, Mrs. McCreery." After the wedding, we went to the reception and hedecided to perform. When we got there he went up on to a platform, pulled out his acoustic guitar and started playing our wedding song. While he was singing, he motioned me up onstage and put a chair on the stage and told me, "Honey, take a seat." So I took a seat and he started singing to me. The love song that he sang to me was called, "I Love You This Big." While he was singing it to me, I had my head on his shoulder.
