One evening Kimberly was home with her newborn son and then she started having contractions. She was slumped over in pain when she screamed out in pain: "HONEYYYYYYYYYYYY! COME QUICKKKKKKKKKKK!" When Dylan heard her screams, he ran and asked, "What's the matter, sweetheart?" "I think my water broke." She was slumped over in excruciating pain and held her stomach. Dylan saw her slumped over on the couch in pain, he sat down, put his arm around her and asked, "Honey, oh, honey, what seems to be the problem?" "My water broke." He put his hand down on to the floor, it felt wet to him and so he decided to go out and start his truck up, then he came back in the house and said, "Honey, I'm taking you to the hospital." "No, call an ambulance to come and get me." "Are you sure? I can drive you." Then instead of speaking a scream came out , "PLEASE NOW!" He sat down next to her and said, "Honey, honey, I hear you, alright, I'm calling now. Just hang in there." Dylan got on the line and a paramedic answered his call:
Paramedic: What's your emergency?
Dylan: My wife is in labor.
Paramedic: I see your address on the computer here, I'm calling for an ambulance for you right now, sir.
Dylan: Alright, thank you. *screams from Kimberly*
Paramedic: You're welcome. Just tell your wife to hang on, the paramedics are on their way.
Dylan: *speaking to Kimberly while still on the phone* Hang in there, honey, they should be here soon.
Paramedic: Do you and your wife have any other children?
Dylan: Yes, we do. We have a set of twins.
Paramedic: Congratulations on the twins, sir.
Dylan: Thank you so much, ma'am.
Paramedic: You're welcome. It sounds like they're at the door. If you go open the door, go ahead and I'll stay on the phone.
Then Dylan opened the door and showed the paramedics where his wife was. Once they tended to his wife, Dylan got back on and said:
Dylan: Alright, they're here. Thank you so much.
Paramedic: Alright, well, hope everything goes well. Have a great night.
Dylan:You too, thank you.
Paramedic: You're welcome.
After they got off the phone, Dylan came over to Kimberly and told her, "They should be her soon. Hang in there." So then once Dylan heard sirens in their driveway, he went out to the paramedic and told him the whole story about his wife. Then another paramedic wheeled her out on a stretcher. Dylan looked atthe head paramedic and asked, "May I go with you?" "Yes, you may, sir." So then after Kimberly and the paramedics were in, Dylan hopped in the back and sat next to his wife and held her hand.

He walked over to his wife and said, "You're coming home, honey." "I know. Please can you just let the doctor do his job, put me in the chair and then we can get going?" He put his hands up in defense, backed away and said, "Alright, alright. Sorry about that." Kimberly just smiled at her husband just then. Once she was in the wheelchair, her doctor handed her her baby and said, "Let's go get you discharged." So then the lady at the front desk gave them their discharge papers.
