Chapter 21

Father Edward was dead.
I was too numb to acknowledge that.

"Time for you to leave," she said.

"Not this soon bitch. I am not scared of you," Saying this I ran towards the door.

Maybe she was having fun watching me this way.
She could have killed me the same way she killed Father Edward.

I ran towards the living room.
Mom lay unconscious and Dad was nowhere to be seen.
I had to be close to Mom so that no one could harm her.

"Mom are you awake?" I asked.

She gave a slight nod.

"Don't worry. I'll save you all," I said.

I had no idea what to do.

"Kill Hadley. She is the cause of everything that's happening." I heard my Dad's voice.

"No. My Dad would never say such a thing. Go to hell demon. I am never going to harm Hadley," I said.

"Well she's going to kill herself anyway," he said laughing.

I sat there, thinking what to do next.
Look for the energy sources.

It was Tara's voice.
"Tara?"

There wasn't any answer.
I didn't know what was Amelia's energy source.

But I knew Wendy's.
It was the closet.

I was heading towards the basement just when I saw Granny.

"Lisa. Baby come here with us.
This realm is a better place to live. Take this knife and be a part of our world," she said.

"My granny would never say so. I know who you are. Emily, I'm not scared of anyone of you. You all will rot in hell." I said.

I had the Holy Cross with me.
I wore it around my neck and moved further.

There was no one in the basement.
I could hear some sounds from the closet.
I was expecting Hadley to be sitting there but it wasn't her.
It was a girl covered in all scars and cuts.
I knew she was Wendy.

I took the knife that was on the floor right beside me and stabbed her multiple times.
She was still laughing.
"I'm already dead!"

Destroy the energy source.

Tara's voice echoed again.

I know this was again a boring update but honestly I am running short of ideas now and the next chapter would be the last one for this book.
I think the story is becoming monotonous.
That's why I choose to end it in the next chapter.
But yes I will write more after my exams.
A sequel or a prequel.. haven't thought of it yet.
