Untied

Lana woke up the next day almost convinced that the night before had been a complete hallucination. But it was too vivid, and the other woman's taste was still fresh on her lips. She decided to confront Mary Eunice but first, she had to go check on Kit. He told her he had found Bloody face outside of the office and had tied him up in the broom closet. He had assumed she had been the one to knock him out. Lana wanted to kill him imediatley, she knew while he was alive he would continue to cause harm. Kit quickly convinced her to keep him alive, he needed bloody face to prove his innocence.

They orchestrated a whole plot to get Oliver to confess to the murders. Lana felt pretty proud of her wit. When she realized she already had the tape and there was no reason to keep that awful man alive, she stole a hanger from the laundry cart and went into the small room they were keeping him in to find the remains of his bindings on the floor. Oliver nowhere in sight. She exited the room in a rush, not sure what she was looking for until she bumped with Mary rather abruptly.

Mary hadn't been able to stop thinking about the incident with Lana.
She used her powers and found out that Lana had bloody face tied up somewhere in the asylum. She saw an opportunity.

Her powers weren't perfect. It took a few days to find out where she was hiding him, but when she did, she freed him immediately. She went into the room and untied the rough knots Lana had made in a rush, he had tape over his mouth and he looked at her gratefully. She didn't say a word and when she finished he ran away in a rush.

As she was leaving the metaphorical crime scene, she felt Lana's presence lurking close and hid in the shadows. She heard Lana proclaim she was going to murder him, she heard the sharp intake of breath  when she realized her prisoner was gone and she heard Lana close the door of the broom closet and her footsteps walking away. Mary followed her.

She waited until Lana was distracted and came out of the shadows. She began toying with her, again. She loved it, all of her little reactions and her harsh words directed to her. Teasing Lana was by far, the most fun she'd had as a human. However, she shouldn't be thinking about the brunette anymore, her plan had worked, bloody face was free, and he would take care of Lana for her. She was nothing but a silly distraction.

"What is wrong with you? I don't understand! You saved me before! Why did you let him go?"

She pitied her a bit, she sounded so confused and helpless.

"Because, Lana," she gave one menacing step in her direction and put her mouth centimeters away from the other woman's ear. "I could." She whispered cruelly.
