It was a clear blue sky and the sun pierced the sky like a dagger. It was quiet, but it was always quiet in the Malfoy neighborhood where an eleven year old boy named Scorpius lived. The only heir to Draco Malfoy and the pure pure blooded family.
Scorpius rose with the afternoon just an hour away. He had woken up late but everyone woke up late on a Sunday.
He yawned and got out of bed and looked at the mirror on his bedroom wall.
Everyone said that he had inherited the best of both of his parents side with his father's pale complexion and sleek platinum blonde hair and the ability to suck up to anyone and be a sly brat. He had inherited little of his mother's personality but the blueish and grayish eyes of his mother and the kind side of her personality otherwise you could say he was a duplicate of his father. He was the average height for his age and was quite skinny being the average weight for his age.
Scorpius had been born into an extremely rich family that had been still respected after the war 19 years ago on that fateful day which had ended many lives yet given most a hopeful future.
Scorpius, being born into a rich family, was a spoiled boy who always got his way and in the end ended up being the exact version of his father when his father was an eleven year old like himself.
He got dressed into a black t-shirt that said his name on it as it had been specially made for him and black designer jeans. He brushed his hair to the side and then made his way downstairs.
A few minutes later the whole family appeared and after his grandfather indicated that they could all begin to eat, they started eating.
It was silent yet a good silence. It was calm and quiet and almost peaceful until the whoosh came and a glance of brown feathers distrupted the silence of the warm day.
The owl came to rest on Scorpius's shoulder and peck lightly at his cheek, signalling for Scorpius to take the letter.
Scorpius took the letter and looked at the front. It had an emblem printed on the front with four different types of animals.
He handed his father the letter. His father's face became dark after seeing the front and it was as if he began to cut everyone off.
Scorpius took the letter back and opened it. He was shocked to see what was in front of him.
To Mr and Mrs Malfoy and Scorpius.
Being a wizard in the community is an important thing and I am writing to let you know that you are a wizard (if not already know) and that you are being given a chance to study at HOGWARTS school of witchcraft and wizardry. We hope that you accept and you fill out the letter behind this letter and you fill that in immediately and send back using the owl. We look forwards to seeing you.

After a long silence Scorpius read out the letter. It excited him and made him interested. He already knew he was a wizard, of course, but he wanted to know more.
He looked expectantly at at everyone who seemed to have come together and started a low discussion, excluding him.
"I personally don't want to send him." whispered someone.
"But it makes his future. We need to send him." strained someone in reply.
After further arguments like that they finally decided.
"We will let you go," his father looked depressed "give me the short to fill in. "
An excited Scorpius handed the letter to Draco who re-read everything and then began filling the the in form with lined forming between his eyebrows.
"Well then this is what you will need Scorpius," his father handed him the letter turned over and he began reading what was written on it.

One Plain Pointed Hat (Black) for day wear
One Pair of Protective Gloves (dragon hide or similar)
One Winter Cloak (Black, silver fastenings)
