"Scorpius!" Astoria exclaimed loudly. "Wake up darling. Today you go to Hogwarts and start anew."
Scorpius just groaned and, turning on his stomach, started hitting the bed. "Mother, do I have to go? I don't want to go I'm tired."
Scorpius had been excited for the past couple of weeks. He rode on his broomstick which was the all new Nimbus 2017. He read some of his books and even attempted some spells knowing the Ministry wouldn't do anything to him because as a kid his magic was uncontrollable. However he soon became tired of the wait and he valued his sleep which caused him to not want to go.His mother just sighed "Scorpius darling just wake up before your father comes to wake you up and I'll tell you that he might not be in a good mood."
This caused Scorpius to get up and roll his eyes. After wearing a simple white top with black jeans and combing his hair to perfection he decided to walk down the stairs to the living room where all the luggage had been packed by his mother the day before.
He sat down on a chair that was part of the long grey table that was made out of real silver.
Making sure that his clothes weren't getting dirty, he began to dig into his food. He was going to get food at Hogwarts and even some sweets on the train ride to Hogwarts but there was nothing like the food at home.
His father, Draco, himself came down wearing a suit and with both of Scorpius's grandparents on either side. His father then seated himself down opposite him.
Scorpius's grandfather, Lucius, came patting his head.
"Look at you Scorpius, already headed off at your first year in Hogwarts. I attended there once," He said sighing taking a seat beside his much loved grandson only to then rub the temple of his forehead,
"I heard that Potter's son Albus is joining in this year with his brother James and the mud bloods daughter Rose is also going there this year." Suddenly his face expression twisted and his eyes became serious. His eyes angry as well for some reason. Scorpius resorted to taking his grandfather's hand and asking him if he was feeling okay. His grandfather took hold of his shoulders. "Listen Scorpius..." and with Scorpius listening intently he finished off what he began saying.
Within minutes Scorpius, Draco and Astoria were in a Ministry of Magic car packing in their luggage, taking seats on the smooth black leather of the cars and soon on the muggle streets of busy London speeding away towards Platform 9¾ Kings Cross Station.
Scorpius stared out of the blackened windows, resting his head on the window. Intrigued, he looked at the surroundings around the Car. The muggle world. He rarely visited the muggle world as his family had taught him that it was beneath his status.
He saw muggles crossing roads, talking into phones and body piercings. Wow, he thought silently in his head. The muggle world was strange indeed. All too soon they had arrived at the Train Station. The weird views and technology was all gone but a massive wall that he had to casually walk through to get to Platform 9¾.
Scorpius and his parents on both sides of him, looked down and began talking to each other and pretended that they just didn't disappear through the wall as they began pushing their large trolley in hushed voices, passing through a border that separated the muggle world from the magical world where all sorts of things existed like dragons, unicorns, sea monsters and more that you would never be able to find in the mundane world.
He stared at the view around him. It looked like thousands of people were here when in reality it would only be around one thousand and not thousands. There was a loud voice speaking into a microphone causing the sound to come out of large speakers.
His parents spotted his friends and they made their way to them and their families. He talked to his friends until his parents turned around as there was only one minute left till boarding time. They began kissing his forehead and getting him ready for the train trip.
"Have a great time Scorpius and write to us as-" he never listened to what his mother had to say because he spotted his father looking at a man, nodding curtly at him and then turning back to them. It was the same family that he had seen at Ollivanders. However last time he hadn't got to see them properly so he looked at them closely now. There was a small ginger haired girl. She seemed around two years younger than him. There was a boy as well. He without realizing looked coldly at the boy but the boy didn't notice so he paid attention to his mother's last words before he embarked the train. "-nd get good scores as well and behave." His mother finished and he nodded absent mindedly. Soon his father was talking to him.
"Try hard in your lessons Scorpius and get good scores. That's all I'm asking from you, okay? Nothing else. You can do whatever you want but atleast do that."
Scorpius nodded his head.
"Father...." His dad raised an eyebrow questioningly.
"What if- What if I'm not in Slytherin?" He asked.
"Scorpius Hyperion Malfoy. It doesn't matter what house you are in because whichever house gets you is lucky and are bound to get a good Quidditch player. But I'd prefer Slytherin." he smiled at his son.Scorpius nodded, saying his goodbyes go his parents, got on the train with his luggage and friends.
Intimidatingly he began to prowl the compartments with his friends until he entered an interesting compartment, containing of two girls and two boys.
"Oh look," he whispered to his friends, "Its a Quadruple Squad."
They sniggered at that but maintained a neutral expression just as Scorpius began to speak."Potter" he growled half smirking at the same boy that he had looked coldly at before. His father and grandfather had told him quite a bit about the boy and his parents.
"Nice to meet you."The boy looked at him.
"I guess okay?"Scorpius began introducing himself.
"I'm Scorpius and this is Leo and Tyler." he pointed to the boys on either side of him. "I see you have a friend which I'm guessing by her tatty muggle clothing is a muggleborn. If you let me Potter I can help you find better friends all you have to do is say yes to my request of friendship." he raised a perfectly blonde eyebrow."Thanks but I can make friends for myself and choose between the right and the wrong. Wouldn't you and your family say Malfoy."
Scorpius pulled a face and snarled. He took out his wand and pointed it threateningly at Albus.
"Don't you dare talk about my family Albus Potter."The tension in the room was getting higher and higher. Albus's friends stood up at his side, waiting to see if Scorpius would strike.
"Why not? After all what your family did was wrong and they didn't even serve their time in Azkaban for it, those filthy DEATHEATERS!" Albus shouted grabbing attention of fellow students.
"POTTER YOU ASKED FOR IT!" he screamed loudly,
"ALARTE ACENDARE!" he shouted causing Albus to hit the roof of the compartment before the others could even stop Scorpius.Albus landed hard on the floor and was slowly getting up.
"PETRIFICUS TOTALUS!" he shouted sending Albus to the floor in a body bind curse. He knelt down beside Albus.
"That will teach you to not badmouth about people and their family."
He stood up and kicked Albus in the stomach before standing up to get out."No, you can't just do that and get away with it. It's wrong and you aren't even supposed to that."
Spoke a girl. She had brown hair and brown eyes (what a coincidence) and was waiting in her school robes all ready.
"Oh so am I not, Little Miss Goody-Two shoes?" he asked sarcastically and a boy stepped in.
"Yes that's not allowed!"
"Oh well does it look like I care?" Scorpius asked.
"I don't care if you care or not but I will not allow you to do that." he fired back.
"I'm with him." squeaked another voice.
Scorpius rolled his eyes.
"Of course you are. You are his friends." he looked her up and down and realised she was who he was talking of before with her tatty clothing.
"Yes we are his friends, have you got a problem?"
"Don't talk to me you filthy little mudblood!" he retorted. Her eyes widened and looked at him with pure disbelief. Her lips parted and her breathing got heavier. Her eyes glistened with tears that she was trying to conceal. She swallowed hard and closed her lips only when she opened them again to give a strangled sob and collapse on the floor crying.
"So you are a mudblood. Filthy thing. Anyways..."
Scorpius looked at her satisfied and left the compartment to change into his robes.Just after changing into his robes the Hogwarts Express stopped. They were finally at Hogwarts.
