Seulgi's POV

After crying in the restroom for most of the lunch period, I decide to go back to class before everyone comes. I put my head down, my eyes puffy and red, and wish for the school day to end already. The bell rings and I can hear Jimin take a seat next to me. I close my eyes and try to ignore his presence, but I can feel his eyes on me the whole entire class time. Why couldn't this day end already? Soon, the bell rings, signaling the end of this terrible day. I quickly pack my things and rush out of the classroom, hoping to get home as fast as possible.

" Yah, Kang Seulgi. Stop right there," Jimin says, trying to catch up to me, but is stopped by that clown Oh Hana. I turn around and feel a pang in my chest. She was right. Why would Park Jimin ever want to be friends with a girl like me ? With tears threatening to spill out of my eyes, I quickly leave the school campus, deciding to walk home instead of taking the bus. Since my house was pretty far, the sky soon turned dark. I nervously continue to walk, jumping at every little sound that ruined the peace and quiet of the night. As I walk, I hear footsteps behind me and turn around, but no one was there. Was I imagining things? I continue to walk and hear the footsteps grow louder. Suddenly, an arm wraps around my waist and pulls me into them.

" Why is a pretty girl like you walking by yourself at night?" a raspy voice whispers into my ear, tightening their grip. Could this day get any worse? Why am I so unlucky that I always seem to get pulled into these dangerous situation?

" Pl-Please let me go," I say, trying to break free of there grasp. Just as I was about to scream for help, he pulls out a knife.

" If you scream, I will slit your throat," he warns, putting the knife to my throat. " Now, I want you to take out all the money you have," he slowly says, lowering the knife, so that I may look for my wallet.

" I don't have any money," I whisper, scared.

He chuckles. " Then come with me. Let's go have some fun shall we?" he says dragging me by my waist.

" Pl-please stop. Le-leave me-e alone," I say, struggling to free myself. Tears begin to stream down my face as I begin to cry and struggle.

" Let her go, you bastard!" someone says, punching the guy so hard that the he staggered back. The orange hair boy continued to punch him, hitting him with such strong force that the man was soon knocked out cold. He gets up, looking at the man with hatred and fury. He turns around and looks at me, his gaze softening.

" Are you okay Seulgi? " he whispers, wiping my tears away and pulling me into a hug.

" Park Ji-Jimin," I croak, resting my head on his chest and crying.

Jimin's POV

I pulled her fragile and shaking body closer to mine. I feel her arms wrap around my waist as she puts her head on the croak of my neck, her tears soaking my shirt. We stayed there for a few more minutes until she calmed down. She lifted her head up and looked at me.

" Thank you," she says, giving me a small smile.

" Your welcome. This is your punishment for not waiting for me," I say looking at her, pretending to be angry. She scoffs at my behavior and I couldn't help but smile. So, basically, if I wanted Seulgi to start talking to me again I would have to put her into dangerous situations and rescue her. Got it. I stand up and offer her my hand, which she reluctantly takes. Her small hand fit perfectly with mine and I enjoyed the warmth it gave me. I walk her the rest of the way to her house, not letting it go. We walked in silence until we reached her apartment. As I turned around to look at her, a familiar pain crept into my chest, making it hard for me to breathe. My breath comes in little gasps, as I felt my legs get weak. I fall, but Seulgi caught me just in time.

" Park Jimin, what's wrong? Park Jimin!" she screams, shaking my shoulders. I took one last look at her and everything went black.
