Jimin's POV
The train ride back was a silent for Seulgi had fallen asleep, her head accidentally landing on my shoulder. I looked at the innocent girl as she slept and though of all the things she told me. I didn't realize how much she had been suffering and why she didn't want to make any friends. She didn't feel safe. It hurt me to see her in so much pain and as I watched her sleep, my heart began to beat faster in my chest. I look away, a slight blush on my cheeks as I slowly reached out to grab her hand. I loved the feeling of her hand in mine and how it fit together like a missing puzzle piece. I gently push her hair away from her eyes, stroking her hair softly.
" I'm sorry I wasn't there for you Seulgi when you were having a hard time. I'll be here for you now, so....don't ignore me and talk to me," I whisper, watching the girl shift in her sleep. My eyes slowly close as the rocking of the train slowly puts me to sleep.
Seulgi's POV
I wake up with my head on Jimin's shoulders, a slight blush coating my cheeks as I saw my hand in his. His hand made me feel secure, a feeling I haven't felt in a long time. I look at him and smile as I watch him sleep. Jimin made me feel things I haven't felt in a long time. He makes me feel alive. I think of my past few days and how much I have changed because of this boy. I haven't smiled, laughed, or talked to someone as much as I did with Jimin. My smile slowly fades as I remember Oh Hana and the rest of the class. Am I strong enough to face them and be friends with Jimin? Or will I hide and avoid him again? The problem was... I don't think I can leave him. He makes me feel happy and important in this world. I look out the window and watch as the world becomes a blur, lost in my own thoughts.
"You're awake?" Jimin says, slightly startling me. He brushed his hair back and stretched, staring at me as I watched him.
"Don't make it too obvious that you think I'm handsome Seulgi. You keep staring at me," he teases, a smile playing at his lips as he watched me blush. I look away, pretending I didn't hear him.
" So, tomorrow is Sunday.... want to go somewhere again? " Jimin asks, a faint blush on his cheeks. I smile at his cuteness. Was he asking me out? No way, his friends were probably busy.
" Where do you want to go? I decided today, so why don't you pick the place for tomorrow, " I say, staring at him as he looked back at me. He smiles, making my heart hammer in my chest
" It's going to be a surprise," he says, looking out the window to see where we were. I didn't want this day to end and I...didn't want Jimin to leave me. I erase this crazy thought from my head. We soon reach the train station and we take a taxi to my house. As I slowly reach my house, I see someone standing in front of my door. I squint to clearly see who it is and my heart drops. I stop, tears blurring my eyes and I soon break into a cold sweat. Jimin looks at me, confused by my expression.
" Are you okay? What's happening? Are you okay? " he asks, looking at me with concern.
" Jimin...You need to leave, now," I say, my voice laced with concern. I pull Jimin into a small alley near my house, hiding him from the stranger.
" Why? Seulgi, are you okay? What's wrong? " he asks, looking at me with concern.
" Just-t lea-ve Jimin, now. I'm begging you, please," I say, my eyes slightly watering.
" I'm not leaving you here. I'm staying," Jimin says firmly. I look at him desperately, wishing for him to leave.
" I can't go home," I whisper looking down.
" Then come to my house," he says, grabbing my wrist and dragging me away and into the opposite direction. We walk in silence, his hand still around my wrist. I look around the streets to see where we were and suddenly, Jimin slides his hand in mine, our finger intertwined. A small smile plays on Jimin's lips as I feel my cheeks warm. After a few more minutes of walking, we reach an apartment complex.
" We're here," he says, pulling me towards the gate. We walk inside and he takes me up a flight of stairs, stopping in front of a blue door. He pulls his keys out, unlocking the door and leading me inside, his hand still in mine. His apartment looked very modern, with a large screen TV and white couch in the living room. Next to his living room was the kitchen, plates stacked up in the sink.
" Let me show you the bedroom," he says, leading me down the hallway. He opened the door to his room, leading me in. I pull my hand from his, looking around. His walls were painted a light blue and photos of him and friends hung around the room. I smile at how cute they look. Music equipment was scattered around his desk. I curiously walked towards it, only to have a hand stop me.
" You can't look at it yet. I'll show when I am done," he says, a small smile playing on his lips. I nod and continue to look around.
" The restroom is done the hall. I'll give you some clothes to wear," he says, rummaging through his drawers and pulling out a white shirt with a pair of sweats. I take the clothes from him and head to the bathroom. I lock the door and shower, dressing myself in the clothes that Jimin gave me. They were slightly big, but they fit me well. I open the door, looking to see where Jimin was. I found him sitting on his bed reading a book.
" You're done?" he asks, his hair slightly wet from showering. I nod, not knowing where to sit.
" Come over here," Jimin says, scooting over on the bed to allow me some room. Hesitantly, I walked over and take a seat, wishing to avoid the awkward silence that filled the air.
" So...can you tell me why you didn't want to go home? Is it because of the stranger?" he asks, looking at me carefully. I silently nod, not wishing to tell him who it was. He drops the subject, and we sit there, enjoying each other presences. Soon, as time goes on, my eyelids slowly begin to close and I fall asleep, not knowing that Jimin was besides me, sleeping too.
