Seulgi's POV

I stared out the window, watching the world outside turn into blur as the train moved on the tracks. I haven't been out in a while, especially with someone. I slowly turn my head and look at Jimin, his arm resting on the arm rest as he used it to support his head. I small smile forms on my lips as I watch him.

" Am I so handsome that you can't seem to stare at my face?" he says, startling me. My face gets warm and I turn make to the window.

"No....I was looking at the window across from us," I lie, trying to cover up my true intentions.

" There isn't a window on my side," Jimin says, smirking as he saw through my lie.

" No there is a window.... never mind there isn't one..," I turn around, embarrassed.

" Adorable," Jimin whispers, making me blush a even deeper shade of red.

" Wow, I never knew someone can blush so many shades of red," he teases, his eyes forming into his cute eye smiles.

" You're so annoying," I whisper, my face turning to the window so he doesn't see my face turn a even darker shade of red. Honestly, I never knew I can blush so many shades either.

" First, you look down. Now, all you do is look side ways. Why do you keep trying to hide your face?" he questions, turning my body to face him. His actions surprised me.

"Because...because...your face might appear in my dreams and turn them into nightmares," I reply, mentally hitting myself for that stupid excuse.

" So now you're even dreaming of me huh?" he asks, an amused smile on his face.

" No No No! I never said that," I reply, flustered.

" You're fun to tease Seulgi," he says, closing his eyes. " I'm tired, lemme sleep," he says, and puts his head on my shoulder. I stiffen, not knowing what to do.

" Let's stay like this for five minutes. Wake me up when five minutes are over," he whispers, closing his eyes. My body soon relaxes as I watch him sleep, a small smile on my lips. My heart starts beating in my chest. What are these feelings? Do I actually like him? Maybe I do.... I lean my head against the window, and with the soft rhythm of the train, I slowly drift off to sleep.

Jimin's POV

I slowly open my eyes, adjusting to my surroundings. We still have about thirty minutes till we reach the beach. I look over at Seulgi and watched as her head swayed side to side, looking slightly uncomfortable in the position. Using my hands, I slowly moved her head so that it was resting on my shoulder, a smile forming on my lips as I watched the innocent girl sleep. I turn around and look out the window, deep in thought. Even though I haven't known Seulgi for long, I enjoy her presence. I think...I'm starting to fall for her. Seulgi starts to wake up from her nap and looks at me, shocked and embarrassed at the position we were sitting in.

" You're finally wake," I say, trying to get rid of this awkward silence.

" Are we almost there yet?" she asks, stretching her arms in the air. I smile at her cute gesture.

" Almost, we have about ten more minutes," I say. She silently nods and takes out a bag of chips from her backpack.

" Did you pack me one?" I say, pouting. She looks at me with a guilty expression.

" Sorry, I forgot. Want one?" she asks, holding a chip in front of my face. Without thinking, I lean over and eat the chip from her hand, causing her to move her hands back, her face slightly blushing.

" Do you not have hands?" she questions, looking down at her chips as she stuffed them into her mouth.

" Why waste my energy when you can do it for me," I say, smiling at her in amusement as her face turned a even darker shade of red. Soon, we reached our destination and we got up from our seats. Without thinking, I took her hand and left the train, my face slightly blushing from my action. I just didn't want her to get lost again. We got off the train and we started to walk to the direction of the beach. It wasn't far from the train station. My hands were still holding hers as we walked, a comfortable silence engulfing us. The salty smell of the ocean slowly filled the air as we slowly reached the beach. Seulgi lets go of my hand and runs to the ocean screaming like a idiot. I couldn't help, but laugh at how happy she looks. I run after her and accidently sprayed her with water.

" YAH PARK JIMIN! DO YOU WANT TO DIE?" she screams, running towards me. I laugh and start to run away, kicking sand away as I ran. I turn back and look at her, slowly catching up to me. Not noticing that I have stopped, she bumps right into me, causing me to circle my arms around her waist to stop her from falling. She looks at me and blushes, pulling herself away from me. The atmosphere became awkward again as we took a seat on the sand next to each other, staring at the sea.

" You never told me why you like the sea so much," I say, turning to look at her. She got quiet and the smile slowly left her face.

" I...I don't know..how to tell you," she whispers, looking down. I saw the Seulgi that I first met at the moment. I saw the girl who couldn't look anyone in the eye. She became the girl who set up her borders and tried to shut the world out.

" Seulgi, look at me. You don't have to tell me if you don't want too," I say, lifting her head up with my finger. She stares at me for a minute and takes a deep breath.

" Most people say that their safe haven is their home, the place where you feel save and secure. Something happened to my dad and for me and mom, our safe haven wasn't our home, but the beach. We came here a lot and we played around. But, she left me... and I lost what made my safe haven feel safe" Seulgi whispers, her voice breaking at the end, bursting into tears. I pulled her towards me and hugged her, patting her back to comfort her. We stayed like that for sometime until she seemed to have clam down. She looked at me with a slight blush on her face.

"Sorry about that," she says. I smile at her.

" It's okay. Don't forget you're not the only one struggling. Everyone is struggling in their own way, but some people are just better at hiding compared to others," I say, looking at her. She looks at me in surprise and then a look of realization hits her.

" Did you get that off the internet? I think you did. There is no way someone like you can think so deep," she says, smirking at my shocked expression. This girl is unbelieveable. How can she say that to me?

" Whatever, Kang Seulgi. Come on, let's go before we miss our train," I say standing up and reaching out to pick her up. She grabs for my hand and as I help her up, a mischievous plan forms in my hand. I let go of her hand and she falls, glaring at me.

" Gosh, you're so annoying," she screams. I laugh at her cute expression and actually help her up. We silently walked to the train station, destroying the invisible barrier between us.
