Jimin's POV

" Are you dating Oh Hana?" Seulgi whispers, looking into my eyes. I stare at her for a moment, wondering if she was being serious or joking. Judging from her face, I could tell she was completely serious. I begin to laugh. She looks at me, annoyed by my action.

" Why are you laughing? It's-s not funny. I'm being serious," she whispers, slightly pouting.

"I'm-m sorry-y. You're-re hilarious. Me? Date Oh Hana?" I say, laughing harder as I tried to finish the sentence.

" You're not?" she questions, obviously trying to hide the fact that she was happy. I look at her, admiring how cute she was.

" No, I'm not. She tells everyone that. Did she tell you that? Did she hurt you?" I asked, concerned.

" I'm fin-ne. She just told me that," she whispers, looking away. I was momentarily confused on why she wanted to know, but understanding soon dawned me. Was she jealous?

" That's why you were ignoring me. Was it because of Hana?" I asked, mischievously smiling at her. She looks away, blushing.

" Are you crazy? Why would I be jealous of her? I don't-t even kn-now you that well," she stuttered, clearly nervous.

" I never said you were jealous," I reply.

" I never said anything about being jealous," she says, looking at her bowl of cereal.

" Whatever floats your boat," I say, grinning at her.

" You're so annoying," she says, looking at me with a cute expression.

" No, you're annoyed because what I'm saying is actually true."

"You wish."

Soon, things became awkward and both of us went back to eating. I coughed, hoping to get rid of this uncomfortable atmosphere. Seulgi was right though. I honestly don't know too much about her and she doesn't know too much about me either. I had an idea.

" Do you have any plans today?" I ask, breaking the silence.

" No, I don't have any. Why do you ask?" she asks.

" Let's go somewhere together," I say, waiting for her reply.

" Why?"

" You're right. I don't know too much about you and you don't know too much about me either. Let's get to know each other better," I say. She stayed silent for a few minutes.

" Where do you wanna go?" she asks, looking at me.

" Anywhere you want. Do you have somewhere you wanna visit?"

" Ummm... let's go to the beach. I haven't been there in a while,'' she says. I smile at her and get up from the couch.

" It's 9:00 right now. I'll pick you up at one,'' I say, going to the kitchen to drop off my bowl. She gets up from the couch and goes to the kitchen to place her bowl into the sink. She follows me to the door and opens the door as I put on my shoes.

" Thanks for taking care of me," I say, turning to face her.

" Your welcome," she replies, looking at the floor.

As I turn to leave and exit the door, Seulgi calls my name. I turn around and see her standing at the door.

" What is it?" I ask.

" Take care of your health. I-I don't want you-u to get hurt again," she whispers, her face turning a deep shade of red. She slams the door, leaving me shocked. After a good one minute, a huge smile forms on my lips as I turn to go back home.

Seulgi's POV

After I close my door, I jump and scream in delight. This is the first time anyone has ever asked me to hang out with them. Especially a guy. I look at the time and it was already 9:20. I quickly do the dishes and I begin to get ready. I decided to wear a red shirt with a black skirt. I tied my hair into a ponytail and paired my outfit with a pair of black converse. I checked the clock for the millionth time and saw that it was 12:30. Thirty more minutes left until we go to the beach. I sat on the couch and stared at the wall. A smile appeared on my lips as I thought about Jimin. I was secretly happy that he wasn't dating Oh Hana, but I don't really understand why I was happy. I mean, it's not like I like him or anything, or do I...? I shake my head to clear away the thought. No way. Park Jimin doesn't like me and I don't like him either. No one likes me. Someone knocks on the door and I jump up in happiness. I slowly walk over, trying to calm my racing heart. Jimin stands in front of me, wearing a black shirt with a pair of jeans. He stares at me for a moment, making me slightly uncomfortable.

" Let's go," I say, freeing him from his trance.

"Um, yeah, Let's go," he says, slightly shaking his head. We took a taxi to the train station and buy our tickets. Excitement takes over me at the thought of going to the beach with Jimin. No, I mean I'm excited to go to the beach, not because I was going with Jimin. The train station was extremely crowded, with people pushing each other to get through. Soon, I was being pushed back and it was hard to stay together with Jimin. Jimin, noticing that I wasn't there beside him and struggling to get to him, grabs my hand and pulls me beside him.

" It would be a hassle to find you if you get lost," he says, looking straight ahead, not meeting my eyes.

My heart began to pound in my chest as I enjoyed the warmth his hand gave me. Holding hands, we soon find our train and get on, heading to the beach.
