Chapter 9 - Ranen And Rose

   THE NEXT DAY

The next day we all arrived early, except Kyle because he is always late.

"The person that is supposed to carry our chief is late," Olivia said

"Im sure he's trying his best," Sophia said

"Well he's not trying hard enough. If it was me I would have been here long time," Wade replied

"Obviously, you have super speed," Sophia said

"Wait a second....are you defending Kyle?" Zurina Asked

"No," Sophia replied while blushing

"Yes you are," Sapphire said

"You like him dont you?" Zurina asked

"No!" Sophia exclaimed while blushing even harder

"Do you want me to use my magic?" Zurina asked

"Yeah we'll get it out of you one way or another," Sapphire said

"Fine I kinda...... like him" Sophia replied

Zurina and Sapphire high - fived.

"We're gonna be best friends," Zurina said

"I agree," Sapphire replied

Kyle had finally arrived at the school walking with his dad.

"Hey, took you long enough," I said

"Yeah and why did you bring your dad?" Wade asked

"This is our chief," Kyle replied

"Yup, and im not gonna take it easy on you all. Now come on give me your best shot," Superboy said

"You want us to fight you?" I asked

"Yes!" Superboy yelled

He punched me and I flew into a bush. Then Sapphire threw a fireball at him.

"Aww That hurts.......SIKE!" Superboy yelled

Superboy punched the floor and Sapphire flew into the air. Wade ran towards Superboy and started running around him to create a tornado. Olivia helped to create the tornado.

"Skcor Ylf Sdrawot Yobrepus!" Zurina yelled

Zurina's spell made several rocks fly towards Superboy in the tornado and hit him. I got back up and created a hand with my mana and slapped Superboy out of the tornado sending him flying down to the floor.

"Ok you can stop now," I said

"No im not done yet!" Superboy yelled

"Does he have a yelling problem or something?" Sophia asked

Sapphire used Earth powers to tie Superboy down on the ground.

"You give up now?" Sapphire asked

"NEVER!" Superboy yelled

"Ssarg Ylf Onti Tobrepus Htuom!" Zurina yelled

Zurina's spell made grass fly into Superboy's mouth.

"Now do you give up *Superboy mumbles* Cant hear you....*Superboy mumbles again* Well I never heard no," Zurina said

"Ok we win now take out the grass," Kyle said

Zurina removed the grass from Superboy's mouth.

"That was unfair! You put grass in my mouth, I couldnt speak!" Superboy said angrily

"We have to do what we have to and that was just us taking it easy," I replied

"Ugh! Fine you win, but we still have a lot of work to do. Now get me out of this and get to class!" Superboy yelled

2 Hours Later

It was now 10:00 and Zurina and I were on our way to magic class with my mom.

"Your mom's gonna be the new magic teacher right?" Zurina asked

"Yup. Im surprised your mom doesnt teach here she's one of the best magic users ever," I said

"She used to........ but then she had a baby," Zurina replied

"Oh you have siblings too?" I asked

"Yeah, three actually, Zack my older brother, he's 19, Jane my younger sister, she's 14 and Jasmine my youngest sister thats 8," Zurina explained

"Oh wow, I only have one sister, Katherine, she's 14 and comes to school here as well" I said

I really liked spending time with Zurina and to be honest I kinda liked her.

"Umm Zurina.....would you like......to go...." Before I could finish my sentence I was hit over by a shortish light skinned boy with dark green eyes and green hair

"Sorry he appologized

Zurina helped us up.

"Its ok, who are you?" I asked

"My name is Ranen and im the son of Raven and Beastboy," Ranen Replied

Suddenly a huge rock came towards us so I created a mana shield to protect us.

"Thats my twin sister Rose. She's more on the evil side," Ranen explained

Rose was wearing her mother's cloak so we could'nt see her physical features except her eyes which were violet.

"Azarath Metrion Zinthos!" Rose yelled while raising her hands which made more rocks appear,

"Naf Sedalb Ecils Hguorht Skcor!" Zurina yelled

Zurina's spell made the ceiling fan blades brake off and slice through and brake Rose's rocks. When Rose lifted her hands I saw some of her skin. She had green skin.

"Stay out of this!" Rose yelled in a demon voice

Then a girl that looked exactly like Starfire, same hair colour, same skin colour the only thing that was different is that her outfit wasnt purple it was light blue. She punched Rose then launched a starbolt beam at her.

"Thats what you get for messing with my friend!" She yelled

"Thanks Sunfire," Ranen said

"Sunfire?" I asked

"Yup. Daughter of Starfire and Nightwing," Sunfire replied

Rose got back up.

"I said to STAY OUT!" Rose yelled with her demon voice

"No villain is gonna tell me what to do," Zurina replied
