Chapter 21 - Luke's Attack

The day went by super slow and I had the most boring classes today. Except my last class Mana Manipulation. Surprisingly many students were in this class and my mom was the teacher.

"Good morning class," My mom greeted

"Good morning Mrs. Tennyson," We all replied

"Today we will be working on platform creation so class will be held on the roof," My mother said

She teleported us to the roof of the school which was 10 stories high and I was terrified of heights.

"Ok so lets begin," Mom said

Students started making platforms and trying to walk on them, most of which failed but I already mastered this technique. Half an hour into the class there was an explosion right across town which could be seen from the roof of the school.

"What was that?" A student asked

"Seemed to be an explosion," Mom replied

"That was'nt just any explosion, that was magic," I said to myself

I created steps of mana that led right to the explosion. While I was running on the steps, I turned my eyes red and started using my telepathy to talk to Kyle.

"Kyle! Can you hear me?" I asked

"Yes, but i'm in class, what do you want?" He asked back

"I need you to get Zurina, Ranen and Nick and come down to Titan Street," I replied

"Like I said i'm in class," Kyle replied

"Just ask to use the bathroom or something," I replied

Suddenly there was another explosion.

"But Gabe...." Kyle started saying

"Sorry got to go," I replied then stopped our telepathic link

I continued running to Titan Street on my mana steps. The closer I went the more magic I sensed and it was a lot. When I arrived I jumped behind a small shop and peeked around the corner. I saw a light skinned boy with brown hair and green eyes. He wore a dark green cloak and had a magic staff, one of the most powerful magical weapons.

"Woah," I said quietly but not quiet enough

"Who's there!" He yelled

I stopped peeking and hid behind the shop hoping he would just ignore the sound he heard. I countinued peeking but he was gone. I stopped looking then sighed in relief but then suddenly a beam of magical energy came flying towards the shop and it exploded. I flew out into the road.

"Oh so you were spying on me?" He asked, "Bad decision," He said

He shot another magical energy beam at me but the Zurina jumped out of nowhere and yelled,

"Ecrof Dleif!"

Her spell created a force field around me that deflected the blast. Then Nick came out of nowhere and shot an optic blast at the stranger. He flew into a street light. The Ranen came out of the ground and yelled,

"Azarath Metrion Zinthos!"

The spell made the street light tie up the boy.

"Perfect timing guys," I said as Zurina removed the force field

"We would have been here earlier but Ranen was very reluctant," Kyle explained

"Well i'm a straight A student and I was'nt planning on losing that," Ranen replied

"So whst made you change......." I began saying but was interrupted

"Ahhhhh!" The boy yelled and then used his magic to break out of the street light, "Do you know who I am," He asked
