"Ugh I have the biggest headache ever."

I looked up at Kyla as she came into her front room. "Weren't you just in the shower?"

"Yes, but is a shower gonna help my headache?"

"Take some aspirin." I shrugged. "What do you have a headache from anyways?"

"Last night I went out with Dinah."

"You must really like her. 2 dates within a week."

"She's different than anyone else I've been out with..."

I raised an eyebrow at her and she laughed, "you were a character Bahja... But it's something about her reeling me in differently than you did."

"What is it?"

"I don't know... Probably her personality or the way our conversations are. She's always smiling and laughing. She tells jokes all the time, and she knows how to keep me happy without even trying. Then she's just so fine it makes no sense. I didn't think I'd like her this much, but I have to hand it to Zonnique for putting us on to each other."

I stared at her as she spoke, and she looked over at me which made me laugh, "you sound like a girl."

She playfully pushed me and laughed, "shutup. Why are you here in the first place?"

I rolled my eyes, "Zo and I broke up."

"Girl no y'all didn't."

"Yes we did, she told me about how she cheated with someone from her trip. I told her I didn't want to be in a cheating relationship. Why have a relationship if we don't have any trust and all we do is cheat?"

"It was her first time messing up in this relationship. Do you realize how many times she's forgiven you for your wrongdoings?"

"What wrongdoings?"

"Do you really wanna go there? Have you even told her?"

"Of course not. I was gonna tell her, but I ended up telling her about the epilepsy instead."

"I'm sure Lani will."

I scoffed, "She doesn't even know."

"Wellll..." She let it run on.

I turned my body to face her and mugged her, "you told her?"

"It slipped out. I didn't mean to, we just started talking about how Zo was her--"

"I don't even wanna hear it."

"I'm sorry, but we've gone all this time and she hasn't said anything."

"But that's different. She probably didn't wanna be the cause for me and Zo breaking up, I'm pretty sure we would've if she were to find out sooner. But now that we're broken up, Lani won't hesitate to tell Zo, they're best friends."

"So maybe you should tell her yourself."

"That won't turn out so well."

"Great... Either way, I'm gonna be in for another ass whooping."

"I'm glad you know you got your ass beat."

"Okay first of all, I was caught off guard and she was practically choking me to death."

"I never knew she could fight. She's not a fighter actually."

"Neither am I." She rolled her eyes.
