Fireworks

• Isabelle's Pov •

"Can I come in?" A familiar voice speaks, gently knocking on the door

"Go away" I respond back

"Look Im sorry for yelling at you. I just got jealous and pissed that you were with Ross"

Thats when my face starts to heat up.

I storm to the door and yank it open really hard, "Are you serious Shawn?! Don't you trust me?"

"Yes I do, but-"

"No there is no buts! You still has no reason to yell at me like that" I quickly interrupt. His face looks so shocked and guilty that I almost feel guilty for yelling at him

"I'm sorry, iz"

"Don't call me that" I say as I slowly move my head towards the ground. Clearly I love to avoid eye contact. "Get out of here Shawn"

"Can we at least talk" he begs

"There's nothing to talk about. Get out"

"Iz.."

"Dammit Shawn! Get out!" I yell

I slam the door in his face and lay on my bed.

God I'm such a mess

• Ross Pov •

I quickly jump as I hear someone slam the door from upstairs

What the hell

"What was that?" I question and Shawn comes running down the stairs like someone was going to murder him

He ignores me and just leaves, slamming the door behind him

Once Shawn slams the door I see Isabelle walking downstairs while tears are streaming down her beautiful face

I open my arms so she can hug me. As she wraps her arms around me I squeeze her tight, never wanting to let go.

"I'm sorry" I gently say

"It's okay"

As I pull away I look at Isabelle's beautiful blue eyes,"I shouldn't have woke you up and took you to the park"

She breaks eye contact and looks down," Don't blame this on your self. Either way I was going to find out about Shawn's Jealousy"

She looks back up and locks her eyes with mine, "Thank you"

"Ross.." She quietly says. So quiet that I can barley hear her

"Yeah?"

"I miss you"

I give her this confused look because I'm literally right here. She catches on my confusion and continues

"I miss how we use to love each other. I miss calling you my fiancé. I miss everything. I miss us"

My heart immediately drops. You have no idea about how long I've been wanting to hear these words.

"I miss you so much more" I respond. I rest my forehead onto hers. Her skin is warm and smooth just like a new born baby's skin "but your just vulnerable right now because you got into a fight with your boyfriend" I continue

She stops resting her forehead into mine. I can feel the coldness running through my forehead as she pulls away. She looks up at me and her eyes start gazing down to my lips

"Ross don't be stupid. No matter who I date there will always be you. I can never stop missing you and loving you"

She makes her way back- locking her eyes on to mine but I look down at her lips and back at her eyes.

I can feel myself leaning in so I can place my lips onto hers and feel the fireworks just like how I did when I first kissed her. I wrap one hand on her lower back and I place the other hand on her soft pink cheeks. I pull her in closer, leaving no space between us. She's so close to me that I can hear her heart beating so fast. Even though it feels like forever-our lips finally touch and boom. Fireworks. In an instant moment I can feel all the old memories rushing through as I continue to kiss her. Its slow,gentle, and comforting. Almost safe, even. I miss this feeling.

We slowly pull away and a smile forms on our faces. I look at Isabelle's eyes and they seem brighter and happier. It's crazy how much emotion you can tell by just looking at their eyes.
