CHAPTER 8

Jame's POV

After we had dinner last night and finds out the unexpected break up of Monique and his boyfriend.Me and Aveline end up having a bet to one another which is really crazy,because we had a deal that if who will fall in love first to one of us,will have the consequences wether I'll buy back their company or she'll be my submissive,quite crazy right,but it's challenging and I know for the fact that I'll win cause I believe that I will never gonna fall in love with her and she will be the one will loose since no one can't resist my charismatic sex appeal and my drop dead gorgeous body.

I am now on my way to Aveline's condo unit to check if there's any problem about the room or she need something,but before I continued to go to their unit,I stop by first to a coffee shop to buy us coffee and pancakes for breakfast.

I know that it is really strange why I am acting like this and so concern and stuff like that,but just leave this to me,let this be a question to her thoughts,I have my reasons though.

And when I arrived at the building,I automatically just gave the key of my car of one of the stuff in the building and went straight inside and into the elevator then pressed the number of the floor where their room is located while my hand is full of three coffee and three pancake that placed on a paper bag,while I am waiting for the elevator to arrive I whistled patiently and stared at my self at the mirrored wall,well,I still look handsome and hot,no promblem for me.

Nung bumukas na yung pinto nang elevator ay agad na akong naglakad papunta sa kwarto nila,agad akong kumatok sa pintuan nung pagkarating ko sa harap ng pintuan nila at hinintay na buksan ang pinto.Nung biglang bumunga sa harapan ko ay ang isang napakapamilyar na mukha ng lalaki.

"Oh!Ikaw pala,pasok ka."sabi niya na parang walang gana sabay binuksan niya yung pinto.

Hindi ko lang siya pinansin and I just continued walking as if no one talks to me,I know that it's really rude to act like that, but their is just part of me telling that I don't gonna like him,kaya bahala na.Nung nakalapit na ako kanila Aveline at Monique na nakaupo na nasa dinning area ay agad ko ng inabot sakanila yung binili kong pagkain para sakanila at sakin.

"Sorry boy,I didn't expect your arrival,better warn me next time."sabay kinindatan ko siya na parang nang-iinis then I smiled at Aveline smuggly which she just rolled an eye at me.

"Hindi ko kailangan yan."patawa niyang sabi habang naglalakad siya palapit samin.

"Well,hindi ka naman ata sanay sa mga ganto diba?"

"James!"galit sabi ni Aveline sakin habang nakatingin sakin ng masama.

"What!I'm just asking,what's wronng with that?"sabi ko kay Aveline at pagkatapos lumingon ako dun sa lalaki at ngumiti sakaniya.

"Okay lang."sabay ngumiti yung lalaki kay Aveline sabay lumapit siya sakin at tinap yung balikat ko."magpakabusog ka huh."then he smiled at me mockingly at nagpaalam na siya kay Aveline"sige na,kailangan ko ng umulis."

"Thank you so much sa lahat."sabay nilayakap siya ni Aveline.

I don't know what's wrong with me but I get irritated when this guy get near to Aveline or even Monique.

"Eat your pancakes."sabay tinulak ko yung plato niya papalapit sakaniya without looking at them and sigh in disgust.

I actually just did that to distract them both because I dont like seeing them doing that infront of me it makes me cringe.

"Sige,Monique!"sabi niya kay Monique sabay tumango lang sila sa isa't-isa.

Nung pagkaalis ng pagkaalis nung lalaki ay agad tumayo si Aveline sa kinauupuan niya at galit na lumapit sakin."what is that all about for?!"pasigaw niyang sabi.

"What?!"galit ko ding sabi sabay uminom ako nung coffee na binili ko at kumain ng konte sa pancake niya"I just want to have a conversation with him that's all."I said it while my mouth is full.

"Your so impossible!"then she rolled her eyes at me and walk away.

"Hey!what are you doing? Aren't you gonna eat your pancake?"i asked her in confused while sipping some of my coffee.

"I just lost my appetite!"at naglakad na siya papunta sa kwarto niya.

"What?!"

"Pabayaan mo na lang yun siya."sabi ni Monique naman sakin sabay siya yung pumalit dun sa inuupuan ni Aveline kanina"sabayan mo na lang akong kumain dito."

I turn to look at her at nagsimula na nga siyang kumain kaya sinunod ko na lang yung sinabi niya sabay umupo ako sa upuan na nasa harap niya habang umiiling-iling"So,how are you?"I asked her.

Pagdating ng tanghali ay pagkatapos ng pagkatapos magbihis at kumain ni Aveline ay agad na siyang nagpaalam para umalis.

"Sige,Ingat huh!"sabi ni Monique sakaniya.

"Where is she going?"tanong ko kay Monique na ngayon ay nakaupo sa sofa habang nanunuod ng television.

"Maghahanap yan ng trabaho."

"Oh really?"hindi ko makapaniwalang sabi kay Monique at pagkatapos ay humarap naman ako kay Aveline na nagtatali ng buhok,nung paglingon ko sakaniya ay hindi ko mapigilan na mapatitig sakaniya foot to head,dahil grabe yung kasexyhan niya dahil sa suot niya na white skinny jeans and silky red sleeveless dress or whatever it is,I am not good at clothes for girls you know.

"Oh!ano tinitingin-tingin mo jan?wala ka na bang planong umuwi?wala ka bang trabaho?"tanong niya sakin pagkatapos niya magtali at nakaharap na sakin while her arms are crossed over her chest.

I take a heavy sigh before I answered her questions lazily "I am the boss and I have other chefs to cook at my restaurant and I guarantee that they can handle it on their own and Also most of all I am the owner I can skip work whenever I want,it's my decision."sabi ko sakaniya sabay kinuha ko ang phone ko.

"Okay."yun lang yung sinagot niya sa mahaba kong sinabi sabay naglakad na siya palabas pero bago pa man siya tuloyang lumabas ay tinawag ko ulit siya sabay sabi."good luck!"

"Thank you!"bubuksan na niya sana yung pinto nung pinigilan ko siya ulit."what now!?"naiinis na niyang sabi.

"I recommend you to apply at Alpha Corporations I heard they are hiring,better try that,I heard they pay a good amount of me."sabay kinindatan ko siya at nanuod na ng T.V.

And in the moment she left ay agad akong tumayo at nagkunwari nagC.R. At dinialed ang number nang kaibigan ko."Hello?"

"Yes,my dear friend,what can I do for you?"tanong niya sa kabilang linya.

"Merong babaeng pupunta jan para mag-apply nang trabaho pangalan Sofia Aveline Mercado,alam mo na gagawin mo."

"What!?but we are not hirin-"

"Just do it."I said emotionlessly then I hung up to our conversation.
