Parker Williams

Thursday
If there was one thing Parker Williams loved more than a good movie, it was coffee. Thus being, the girl stood in line inside of a Starbucks in Brooklyn New York, waiting for the people in front of her to order, so she could pay for her god damn black coffee. However, fate was not on her side that day, as the moment she reached the register, a gun was placed to the back of her head. Civilians screamed in horror, exiting the building as fast as possible, while Parker and her attacker waited patiently for the area to empty.

The purple haired super villain sighed and pressed the diamond on her ring, listening to it click into place. "You couldn't have waited until after I got my coffee, could you?" Her words were met with silence. "Very well. I suppose it's time for the guessing game, is it not?"

"I don't have time for games, Havoc." came the gruff reply.

"Oh, bummer, though even if you did, you just gave the answer away by speaking!" Parker turned and faced the gun and her attacker. "How very lovely to see you Barton." She offered the man a bright grin.

"I can't say the same to you."

Parker pouted. "Darling, you break my heart." Bringing her leg up in a swift kick, Parker knocked the gun from his hand, and caught it. "Now I don't think this was exactly necessary, Clint." She emptied it of its rounds, and tossed it to the side.

In retaliation, Clint swung his fist towards Parker's face, but she merely sidestepped, shoving her hands into her pockets. He then tried to sweep her feet from beneath her, and she jumped over his leg. Every kick, punch, and hit, Parker dodged with grace and ease, though she never attacked.

"So where are your friends, Clinton?" She asked, leaping back as her aimed a kick towards her gut. "Off to save some child's kitten from a tree?"

"No, actually, they're on their way here now." Said Clint with a smirk. "I was just stalling."

Parker met his response with a bright smile. "As was I." The diamond on her ring clicked back up, and she twisted it. Black material enveloped her body, replacing the streetwear she once wore. The dark substance stretched from her toes all the way up to the middle of her neck, and her hair turned black.

Clint stepped back, caught of guard. He shook his head and focused once again. "There's no way that suit abides to the laws of physics."

"Black magic usually doesn't." quipped Parker tersely.

"Well that explains a lot." Clint pulled his bow off his back and snapped it down into a half-staff, getting into a fighting stance.

Parker followed suit, widening her stance and opening her hands, allowing gold energy to dance across her palms. "Shall we continue?"

She ran at him, dodging as he swung his staff at her, and blasting his side with psionic energy. Clint let out a grunt of pain before kicking his leg out and swiping the super villain's feet out from under her. Parker fell to the ground, cursing loudly as her spine hit the tile. She rolled with the momentum, somersaulting backwards and rolling back onto her feet. Using a hand to swipe her hair out of her face, Parker let out a huff, and looked at Clint, who was leaning against the counter.

"So, Havoc. I know what you look like out of costume, and I know you like coffee. Yet I still don't know your name." He mused, eyeing her thoughtfully.

Parker looked at his, an eyebrow raised. "Well, if you had waited for me to purchase my coffee, you would have heard me tell the barista my name, or seen it written on the cup if you couldn't hear me, seeing as you are eighty percent deaf."
