"Yep, okay. You're definitely drunk." I couldn't help but laugh at Kali's state right now. She's not exactly a light weight, but she can't handle alcohol like me.
That doesn't stop her from drinking more then she can take though.
"I am not drunk. I'm perfectly fine, see!"
She tried too walk over towards me, but ended up tripping and almost falling. Lucky for her, I was there to catch her.
"That doesn't prove anything! Let's go dance, I wanna party!"
Her words came out slurred a jumbled together there was no way in hell I was going to let her
party like this, or do anything like this. I grabbed her arm and started pulling her with me."No young lady. We aren't partying, we're getting you to your brother so he can take us home. And we're doing it now." I demanded.
"But-"
"No buts!"
"No, really! I don't feel so good."
I turned around and finally looked at her. Her face was a pale green color, and one of her hands was on her head. The other holding her stomach.
"Okay new plan. You stay at the bar, don't you dare order anything but water. And I'll go find Castello so he can drive us home, okay ?"
"Okay. Hurry please, my tummy hurts."
I turned and went in search of Castello.
-----------------------------------------------------------
It's been 20 minutes and I still haven't seen Castello, anywhere! This place can't be that big can it? Where would he be? He's not the player type so he can't be with any girls, at least I think he isn't. Can't really tell, when someone doesn't talk to you.
I've been asking around, and all my responses were either, no or a perverted comment. Don't ask...
Before I could continue searching, my body collided with a solid wall. Wait. solid walls don't breath, or have six packs. And they definitely don't smell like Clorox with a hint of, chocolate?
Only one person smells like chocolate, and he hates me.
"Castello, there you are! I've been looking all over for you!"
He just stared at me, was there something on my face?
"Why?" He said. His tone was flat and held no emotion.
"Why what?" I asked crossing my arms.
Wait a second...Are we actually about to have a normal conversation?
"Why were you looking for me?"
I think we are! Those are the most words he's ever said to me. I suddenly heard a laugh, it was him. I've never heard him laugh before, I wonder what he's laughing at? Wait a minute.
"I said that out loud didn't I?"
"Yeah, you did." A smile still tugged on his lips as he stared down at me.
"Oh. Well then. Umm, ya see.. Kali had a little bit too much to drink and-" before I could even finish what I was going to say. The small smile Castello held immediately dropped and he stormed towards the bar.
I quickly followed behind and panic sparked within me when I realized Kali was no longer at the bar.
"Shit." I muttered under my breath.
I watched as Castello slowly turned around and stared at me with stone cold eyes. I swallowed the large lump that stood in my throat and watched as Castello slowly stalked towards me. His jaw was clenched and I even noticed the small vein protruding from his forehead.
