I watched as the nurse unwrapped my bloodied bandages.

My wound was all stitched up but my skin had purple splotches. The nurse pulled out a clear solution and poured it over my stitched wound.

I let out a low hiss of pain not wanting to alert the nurse, as she started to wrap new bandages around my arm.

When she was all finished I held onto my arm, to try to ease the pain.

After the nurse left Castello came walking in. He held an odd expression on his face and he was holding something behind his back.

He stepped next to the bed I've been resting on for the past 3 days and revealed a bouquet of roses.

My eyes widened in surprise.

This was definitely new.

"For you," Castello said extending the flowers towards me. I take them from him awkwardly.

"It's from Vitaly." he said aloud.

"Vitaly?"

Why was this guy so worried about me? I haven't seen him since I've been in this hospital and we barely know each other .. must be out of kindness I guess.

"You saved my sister Aisha," Castello said staring down at me. Completely ignoring my question.

I shuffled under his gaze.

"Y-yeah," I said lowly.

He nodded his head and left the room.

But before he left he stopped at the door and said "Grazie."

"He got pretty mad when I protested, but I see where he's coming from."

I'm currently sitting in a Starbucks sipping on an ice latte while Kali rants besides me with a dollop on whip cream on her nose.

Apparently, he told Kali that she can't get drunk at parties anymore, or go to them at all for that matter. She's a little pissed about it but seeing as I ended up in the hospital, she's seeing his point.

"But I have an idea, and your gonna help me with it." Kali's eyes sparkled, with her "I'm- about-to-get-us-all-in-trouble" face.

I know that face, trust me that face always gets us into trouble.

"No, no, no, no. No! The last time I helped you, we got caught. I thought Castello was gonna kill me!" I screamed, I wasn't ready to die.

It's true, when we turned 19 Kali convinced me to let her make us a fake Id's, so we could get drinks. Little did we know, Castello was at the same club. As soon as he saw Kali drunk he blew a gasket and blamed me!

"Oh relax, he wouldn't have killed you! But I was just thinking of throwing a party, a small one, with no alcohol and just our friends and family." She giggled innocently.

I know Kali too well for her to get away with telling me she's throwing a 'small' party with 'no' alcohol.

Looking at Kali with a blank face I let out a small sigh before speaking.

"So should I bring Ciróc or Moscato?" I say with a slick grin.

I didn't care that she was throwing a party. I thought it would be a little fun and would take all of the pressure off of what happened at the last event we went to.

"I've always been a Moscato kinda gal." Kali says laughing and we both sip on our coffees laughing in unison.
