•Vitalys POV•
"Fucker!" I said while taking the butt of my gun and slamming it across the piece of shits face.
"Why are you here?" I said trying to control my temper but it was difficult. In front of me was the product of the bastard who murdered my father. Oscar.
My father was my only close family after my mother took off with some man back in Italy. She left him at his weakest. She left us....
The memories flooded in and I didn't realize I was pointing my gun at the head of the little shit.
"Vitaly!" Castillo said taking a few steps towards me but stopped when I quickly diverted my gun and my bullet pierced the la cagna in his leg.
His scream feuled the monster in me, giving it a sip but never quenching it's thirst for blood; blood that I would spill, not today but soon.
"Listen here bastard." I sneered as I gripped his hair a yanked, watching as his head whipped back.
"If I ever see you on, or near my property or these people who I claim, I will personally show you that being with me at my mercy, is worse than death."
I said sharply while releasing my grip on his hair.
I heard the pitter patter of feet on the stairs, Aisha was my first thought.
Scenes flashing through my mind of her seeing and realizing the monster that I am made me almost lose my breath.
I was hesitant to turn around but I finally glanced up, seeing the bluish-green eyes and dirty blonde hair was a huge relief.
The beast inside me was unsatisfied, he wanted Aisha to see this, to know that we would do this and so much worse to protect her.. and even more worse if she ever disobeyed.
I knew that Kali, even though she was born into this life, was squeamish so I had to end this quickly.
Looking back at the piece of shit made my anger come back ten fold as I got in his face.
"The only reason I'm letting you live is because I don't want my floors dirty. But I need you to be a good little boy and go tell your daddy that next time he sends his spazzatura anywhere near me, I will start the clock on his time left on this earth before I personally send him back to hell. Do you understand?"
By the time I was done I was gripping his neck and his bitch face was turning blue.
"I said do you understand!"
"Yy.........yee......yes!" He could barely get out a sound, his lungs demanding the air I greatly denied.
"Castello get him out of my sight," I turned my head dismissing his presence and welcoming Kali's.
She stood in silence watching Castillo drag away the frail man limping away as blood dropped from his wounded leg.
Her eyes snapped to mine. Guilt drawn within them.
I took long strides towards her and opened my arms as she ran to me for a tight hug as I rubbed her back affectionately. I offered her a swift moment of affection but it quickly transformed into the familiar anger I hold in me. Even though I pitied her for her fight with Castillo she had to know that putting our lives at such sake was punishable.
I can't let her ignorance put my peoples safety at sake, so I slowly tightened my hug around her until she started whimpering under me.
"Vitaly." She struggled to get out as my death grip was held tightly on her.
"la prossima volta che ci metterai a rischio ti farò del male" I said firmly into her ear. I could feel her shaking under me.
I let her go and she inhaled a huge gasp of air while looking at me with wide eyes. She had to know that even though she was like familia to me she wouldn't get away with certain things. She had to know I was in control.
"I'm sorry." She murmured while holding back tears.
I ignored her apology and adjusted my suit.
"Did Aisha hear anything?" I said softly. My demeanor completely changing.
"Fast asleep." Kali let out.
I nodded my head in approval.
"I'm sorry I disrespected you, it won't happen again." She murmured.
I knew she was still upset about the whole ordeal with Cas and while I was upset with her as well, I knew Kali was a grown woman and she would make her own choices.
"It's alright princessa," I said reluctantly. I wanted her to see me upset so she knows not to make such stupid mistakes again but of course I couldn't ..
I liked submission from most but not my familia, they were the only exception. Even when they did something wrong.
"I don't know Taly, I really messed up, I went too far and I don't know how to make it up to you.. and Castello .. and Aisha has to be mad at me too every time I do something it's my fault and then she gets blamed for it-"
I didn't know Aisha was being blamed for Kalis mistakes and it ticked me off knowing she was.
Kali was beginning to rant and I was staring to become angry again so I knew to change the topic.
"Are you sure that none of the noise woke her?"
I hopes she was still asleep, she shouldn't ever be worried about anything.
"Yes I'm sure." Kali said and then made a weird expression with her face
"Why do you like her?" She said unexpectedly and the question threw me off.
I didn't know if I liked her or not .. maybe the fact was that I didn't like her, I craved her, when I was with her earlier the beast in me finally calmed. It didn't crave for the blood of my enemies like it had for the past 12 years, instead it craved for her touch, her smell, her peace. Her very existence made me calmer.
I didn't realize me and Kali were standing in silence until Kali cleared her throat.
"I'll handle that." I said briefly. I had to admit I was a bit embarrassed by her question.
"Your brother will be back any minute, are you going to be okay?" I asked watching her thin figure.
She nodded.
"Yeah. I'll be okay thanks Taly. " She let out a sigh and walked off almost eagerly.
In the mafia there are families where the woman hold no power and are beneath men, that is the exact opposite for my family.
The woman may not be the ones always fighting with us, but they are the reason we live. We live for them, to protect them, to fight for them, to love them. Your sisters are your princesses that you've vowed to protect, and your wives are the ones you fight for till your last breath.

RomanceI ran. I couldn't look at the scene in front of me anymore, so I ran. I heard a pair of feet behind me before I reached the door, but I couldn't stop. I couldn't face him, not after what he did. "Aisha! Come back here, we need to talk about this!" I...
