"Hello?" He asked answering the phone groggily

"Farkle, wake the Hell up we need to talk." She responded

"Alright I'm up, I'm up." Farkle complained

"I'm back in town, but I'm not sure where I can go without running into either of them."

"Just go to my place, I'll be there soon."

"Thanks Farkle, talk to you later."

"Talk to you later."

Farkle sighed heavily. He had no idea what they were going to do. He ran a hand through his hair and quickly clothed himself. Farkle stepped out of Riley's room to see the chaos that was Lucas's family.

"What do you mean I shouldn't live with her?" Lucas asked angrily

"Lucas you're 21 years old, you should have a girlfriend, you should be going to school."

"This isn't about me, this is just the fact that you don't like Riley."

"I never said that." She said wearily

"You didn't need to." Lucas said even more angry than before
"You never liked her and I never knew why and I still don't." He started "While you and dad decided to go back to Texas and leave me here she was one of the only people I could talk to, she helped me through that and you don't seem to understand that."

"Lucas-"

"No it's fine. Dad's waiting for you down stairs, you might as well just leave already." He brushed past her "Goodbye Mother."
Lucas held the door open and watched her walk out. He sighed as he closed the door shut.

Farkle knew today was not the day for Maya to come back into his life, maybe they'd try tomorrow.

"Sorry man." He said putting a hand on Lucas's shoulder

"It's fine, I'm just glad Riley left for class already. She's been through enough." Lucas smiled smally "I'm gonna lay back down, I have work later. You can let yourself out whenever."

Farkle patted his back "Get some sleep man I'll talk to you later."

Today was definitely not the day.

Maya anxiously boarded the subway. She hoped she wasn't recognized by anyone. She may have left without a trace, but she looked the same. The only difference was that her hair was shorter, and not by much. She couldn't help but feel like she was constantly being started at, but she was probably just being paranoid. That was probably it.
She stepped into Farkle's penthouse nervously, she was nervous just being back in New York. It had been three years,  but not much had changed.

"Well today is definitely not the day." Farkle laughed nervously

"When do you think would be a good time?"

"I'm not sure." He said scratching the back of his neck "But all I know is-" Farkle was cut off by someone entering his home

"Farkle?" His eyes went wide, it was Riley and Maya knew it.

"Oh there you are." She said turning the corner, she stopped dead in her tracks in she saw Maya. They sat there in silence.

"Maya?" She asked quietly

Maya ran a hand through her hair nervously "Hey Riley." She smiled smally "Look I'm really sorry." Maya started before she was engulfed in a hug. Farkle stood back and smiled, they both had figured Riley would be the more understanding one.

They both stepped back with tears in there eyes. "I can't believe you're back, and you cut your hair." Riley smiled

Maya chuckled nervously  "You're not mad?"

"Why would I be mad? We all have our reasons when it comes to certain things."

"Yeah but I left."

"Yeah but you came back." She smiled brightly. Maya pulled her into a hug this time

"You're not even a little mad?"

"I didn't talk for like a year." She laughed

"That's a long time for you." Maya laughed as well

Farkle came up and hugged them both "Isn't this just great."

Riley groaned "You ruined the moment."

"Come on I thought you were supposed to be the genius here." Maya said rolling her eyes as they sat down.

"Sorry about that, but we have a problem here."

They all figured what was coming

"He's gonna have a heart attack." Riley sighed

Maya looked at the both of them "I know."

"So how do we break the news to Lucas?"
