Tatia
I'm sitting outside, texting my informant, Alexander, in New Orleans, he tells me that there has been weird stuff happening in the witch community but he can't find out because he's also one of my Father's "guys" and it would be too risky to go to the witch community without suspicion.
"What's the hold up?" Kol asks and then takes my phone, "and love? It's family time, don't text while we're here, there's a lot of catching up to do" I look up at him and roll my eyes, I use my Magic to pull my phone out of his hands and I put it in my back pocket of my jeans

"Alright, we rescued Nik, we escaped mortal danger. Why are we not on a private jet to St. Tropez?" I interrupt Kol, "Because not everyone wants to go to St. Tropez?" I question him sarcastically and he just glares at me
"Anyways, you can catch up on the last five years when we're on our way, trust me, we haven't missed much." Kol says irritably
"Circumstances have changed" Elijah says as he straightens up his tie and turns around and leans on the railing of the porch, which we're sitting on
"We have a young niece to consider" Rebekah says and I look up at her and roll my eyes, "yeah, it's not like I have a life, I don't go to school, have a house, friends, or a job" and Rebekah looks at me, "you know what I meant Tatia."
"Kol has a point, we need to put a whole ocean between us and Marcel if we want to be safe" Freya says and I stand up to object
"Marcel won't come for us Freya. If he ever wants a relationship with me he wouldn't do anything to risk not having a relationship with me" but she just ignores it, "Tatia he thinks we're the reason you hate him, he'll kill us. "
"We're not going anywhere today" Nik jumps in, "I want one day of peace with my daughter before I uproot her."
"Any delay is a risk" Freya says
"Freya, I clocked the house, I put totems around the perimeter of the house to warn us of any supernatural visitor, the house is in my name so I can only invite vampires in. My magic is much stronger than any witch Marcel has. We were not followed and I will not allow you to do this to Hope, all because you're paranoid!" I scream at Freya
The front door opens and I see Hope and I walk over to Hope and grab her hand and kiss it
"Hey everyone, look who's up" Hayley says and Hope looks around at her astranged family awkwardly
"Hello" she says politely, she looks up at her mother and then at her father, longingly, "Mom? Can I go play in the garden?" Hayley looks at her and back at her in-laws
"Yea sure baby, go ahead."
Hope runs to the garden and Hayley gives Klaus an apologetic smile.
Klaus
I'm standing on the porch, watching my daughter painting
"Well I gotta go" I see Tatia walking out in front of Hayely
"And where are you going?" I ask Tatia as she walks to her vintage car
"I have to go to school Nik"
"She's in college to become an engineers officer in the Marine Corps." I have the look of astonishment on my face
"The Marines?" You're going to join after you become a vampire right?" Tatia rolls her eyes and laughs at me,
"See you later guys, call me if something comes up" Tatia leaves, gets in her car, and drives out of the drive way.
"What did you tell our daughter?" I ask Hayley.
"I told her that you're a hybrid like me" she pauses
"I also told her that you're very old, I told her what I promise I'd tell her, that her father would do anything for her. Other than that, she's seven, I thought I shouldn't share with her the gory details of your past."
"Well someone must have discarded me, perhaps she heard you talking to Tatia? Or maybe it was that prude Mary" Hayley slaps my arm
"I haven't told Tatia anything of your past, she didn't want to know. And stop it Klaus, I have spent five years protecting your daughter, shielding her from all the horror stories that involve your family. She doesn't know your history Klaus, what she does know is that you protect your family no matter what."
"And yet she fears me" I reply with my head down
"Klaus, she's a sensitive kid and you're not exactly calm right now. You're her fairy tail prince" Hayley says as she pauses, I look up at her
"And now you're real, you have a lot to live up to. Show her the father she waited her entire life to see, show her the man that Rebecca knew you were."
Tatia
I am on my way back to school and I'm on the phone with Alexander
"Just go on one date" he begs me
And I chuckle at him
"Do you actually want to get involved with a Mikaelson?" I ask him
"Well last time I checked you're actually a Gerard"
"Don't call me that, I hate that man"
"I'm sorry, I didn't know you took offense to that doll"
"I need to go I just pulled up to my house."
"Okay hun, call me later to let me know you're okay"
"Hun?" Rebekah says as she is speaking to me through my window, I look down and I see bags at her feet
"You're leaving?"
"I have spent my whole existence with my family Tatia, and now I'm finally able to find love, start a family." I smile at her and step out of my car to hug her.
"You're just gonna leave? Say goodbye to anyone else?" I start to tear up
"I was asleep for four years," I pause, "I want to get to know you."
"Tatia, I won't be gone forever sweetheart."
"Who is going to take me shopping on my first date?" I laugh as I'm crying
"Tatia, don't make supernatural drama a priority, don't forget to grow up and have a human life, while you still can."
Hours later(narrator's pov.)
"What's wrong with her?" Elijah asks as he is walking into the room to see an unconscious Tatia resting on the couch with her head on Freya's lap
"It's a magical infliction but it's nothing I recognize." Freya says, Elijah reachs down to touch Tatia's forehead but it's ice cold, "We should get Hayley and Klaus in here
"Freya!" Klaus shouts as he brings a I'll Hope into the room, "What's wrong with Tatia?"
"Daddy I'm cold." Hope says weakly,
"Elijah hold Tatia" Freya tells him and he complies, Freya reaches down to sense if whatever is wrong with Hope is the same thing that it wrong with Tatia
"Hope is inflicted by the same thing Tatia is inflicted by..."
"Why isn't Tatia awake then?" Hayley asks as she walks over to Klaus and strokes Hope's hair.
"I put her to sleep because she was in pain." Freya said.
"Guys," Hayley says, "It's a note from Vincent, "he knows what's wrong with the girls, he said to come to New Orleans."
