"Does it hurt?" I ask Hayley as the moon if coming up. I feel the anticipation of the full moon waiting to unleash my curse
"Yes, but once you do you'll be able to defend yourself" she tells me
"I don't understand why I can't just use a moonlight ring. I can make one myself" I try to reason with her.
"Tatia," Klaus says as he was walking over to me, "you will be the strongest creature in the world, you'll be able to take down your father and find vengeance for your mother, bring her back to a safe, healthy family. Once you trigger your curse you'd be able to heal yourself when injured." I look at him and I begin to feel the first crack, I fall to the ground, its my spine.
"Let me help her!" Freya says and she lifts her hand up to suppress the pain but Hayley slaps her hand down
"No. She needs to feel the pain, it will treat her insurance."
I look up and Hayley smiles at me
"Tatia your eyes are a bright blue, like they would get when you were a baby" I scream in agony and she and Klaus tell Freya to go inside. I look up and I see them turning to wolves.
My bones are all twisted and broken and when the last bone breaks I feel the fur grow, I look down and it's a beautiful amber brown coat of fur on my arm, I look up at Klaus and Hayley, in their wolf form, and they walk over to me and nudge me to help me get on all fours.
At this point I'm a wolf, and I feel the power of the full moon, it's intoxicating.
