"Calm down Nicole it's your parents."
"I'm sorry! This is all my fault!"

"You're burning up. Why didn't you just come here?" Julia asked, taking a thermometer out of Nicole's mouth.
Nicole coughed. "I didn't want to bother you, and Hunter said that we would never see each other again." She says weakly.
"He wasn't thinking." Julia sighed, putting a wet cloth on her head.
"You seem smart for a small kid." Nicole chuckled.
"I had to learn a lot quickly. My father left us, meaning my mother has to work extra hours and my brother has to work hard at school and he has a part time job on the weekends." Julia says softly.
"I see... I'm sorry, I didn't know." Nicole says.
"It's ok... I'm over it anyway." Julia smiled a bit. Nicole smiled as well.
'She's a strong kid.' Nicole thought.
A few rings were then heard. "Oh sorry, that's the home phone." Julia says walking over the phone. She started talking to the person on it and then soon hung up.
"Who was that?" Nicole asked.
"Hmm? Oh it's Hunter, he was calling to tell us that he was bringing his friend Vance over to work on a project." Julia says.
"Oh. I see..." Nicole says.
"Is something wrong?" Julia asked.
"I'm fine just a bit off since yesterday." Nicole says.
"Oh... If you don't mind me asking. What happened yesterday between you and your brother?" She asked.
"... My brother hates me, he has a family and doesn't want me near them..." Nicole mumbles.
"Oh... Nicole I'm so sorry..." Julia says.
"It's ok, I guess it's my fault for being in a coma for 10 years." Nicole said.
"Oh yeah. How did you get into that coma anyway?" Julia asked.
"I-I don't remember and that's what I want to know and what I'm going to find out." Nicole says.
"That's good, and I want to help." Julia smiled. "Oh yeah, can you try to sit up?"
"Y-Yeah." Nicole says, sitting up slowly, Julia supporting her back.
"Do you feel light headed?" Julia asked.
"A little." Nicole says, just then the door open.
"Julia! We're here!" Hunter says walking through the door, Vance behind him.
"We're in my room!" Julia yelled.
Hunter sighed a bit in relief that they both were at the house, he then walked up to Julia's room and Vance was behind him.
"How's Nicole doing?" Hunter asked.
"Nicole...?" Vance muttered, confused on who Nicole was, he the looked over at the girl sitting up with a fever.
Nicole stared at him in surprise in a bit of shock too, her face reddened and not from the fever.
'That's Vance?!' Nicole thought.
